Cody trampled through the forest with Barris still fast asleep in his arms before he managed to break through the thick brush.

He let out a sigh of relief before he heard the familiar click of a rifle behind him.

"For being a clone you make a lot of noise" Came a harsh but familiar voice from behind him.

Cody froze.

His hands gripping Barris form slightly tighter as he slowly turned to face the direction of the voice behind him.

there in front of him was another clone, though this one was older and looked as though he had been woken from a dead sleep not moments before.

"Who are you?" Cody asked his body puffing out slightly to try himself seem bigger.

"a farmer....and im not about to let you pass through here withought knowing who you are" the man said.

Cody squinted unsure of who he was talking to when he recognized the face of the unknown farmer.

He was a clone.

"Your a clone" Cody half shouted as he took a step back out of shock.

Cut rolled his eyes at the younger clone before his eyes caught sight of the person in his arms.

"Who is that?" Cut asked re aiming his weapon at Cody's head.

Cody glared at the clone before he replied with an almost growl in his voice "she's my fiance.....".

Cut raised a his left eyebrow at Cody "for your sake I hope she tells us the same thing....now move". Cut moved the weapon sideways, indicating him to begin moving towards the location of the village.

Cody began to move slowly towards the direction before Cut spoke again.

"Don't think I won't shoot you if you try anything".

Cody gripped Barris again before he felt her head nuzzle against the crook of his neck, he smiled slightly at her unconscious movement that comforted him slightly before he returned toward his trek to the village.

the moment they arrived Cody was both amazed and shocked at the buildings Infront of him.

Five or six two story buildings stood in a perfect circle with farmland behind them, all full of crops or roaming animals that dotted in the surrounding land. Cody almost smiled when he saw sunlight slowly breaking through the clouds and through the tree line to illuminate the village in such a way it almost took his breath away.

"Cody?" Barris whispered making Cody look down to see her brown eyes full of sleep and confusion.

"Hey sleepy head" Cody whispered as she buried her face back into his chest "my head hurts" she whispered back quietly making Cody's eyes widen slightly and look back at Cut.

"Where is your med droid?" Cody almost yelled, his voice full of fear.

Cut raised an eyebrow before he looked down at Barris, "what is your name?". Barris gripped Cody's shirt in slight fear when she realized that Cut had a gun trained not on her but on Cody's head. "Barris Offee" she said barely above a whisper her heart beating wildly with fear, Cody shifted slightly so she was more pressed into his chest and away from Cut.

"Leave her alone" Cody hissed, his protective side roaring back to life. "Are you his fiance?" Cut asked as he shifted his glare to Cody who did not back down.

"Yes" Barris whispered as she stared down Cut herself.

Cut lowered his weapon and shrugged, "sorry vod....we had heard about some crazy things happening to clones and I wanted to keep my family from that crazy".

Cody looked down at Barris before he smiled at Cut "I can understand that, can we hide out here?".

Cut looked at the couple for a minute before he answered "hide out from what exactly?" Cody looked at Barris again as he placed her on her feet gently.

"The world." Barris whispered as Cody hugged her close from behind and kissed the top of her head.

Cut nodded before glancing to one of the homes.

"You set anything on fire or break anything your out" Cut grumbled as he walked past them towards one of the homes.

Cody looked down at Barris again before he heard children laughing in the distance and cuts gravely voice yelling towards them.

"HEY, YOU WONT BE LIVING HERE FOR FREE YOU KNOW!".

Barris smiled slightly at Cuts brash but familiar nature, Cody just ignored the older clone and looked back at the view before them.

"Do you think the war will follow us here?" Barris asked as Cody rubbed her upper arm, He smiled before he turned back to his fiance.

"If it does, we will deal with it like how we always have since the beginning of the war."

Barris raised a eyebrow in a sarcastic manner before with a slight smile she replied "With a blaster? Or with a tank?".

Cody laughed slightly at her joke before he kissed her gently, shutting her up effectively. "With each other..... But you just enjoy messing with me arnt you" Cody whispered to her as she smiled happily at him.

Cody simply kissed her forehead gently again before he was pulled towards the village by a very happy Barris.
