Cody rubbed his temples as a slight headache, he had been looking over paperwork for the last five hours trying to figure out how many new soldiers would be joining them.

"Hey comm- captain Cody," Said Volt as he poked his head into Cody's office. Cody grumbled a small aggressive greeting before Volt entered cautiously. The room was perfect reg standards, everything but Cody's desk, his desk looked as though a bomb hit it.

"um sir I thought that Commander Offee was the one who does all this paperwork?" asked Volt confused.

Cody sighed and shook his head "yes and no...... it's a long story......what do you need Vod?".

Volt looked a little apprehensive "um well sir..... it's about the ship we are going on tonight......um there isn't a private room for Commander Offee"

Cody put down the pepper and looked at his Vod curiously, it had been three days since they had delivered the prisoners to the new jail and had been picked up by General Kenobi's ship about to be deployed from curosaunt on a stealth mission behind Separatist lines.

"why in the universe would she need a private room?" asked Cody already guessing the answer.

"Well..........some of the men don't want to bunk with an um.........I don't mind at all its just................." Volt was grasping for anything to say.

"they don't want to bunk with a Jedi?" Cody tested his arms crossing slightly annoyed at his own men now.

"N-not exactly," Volt said scratching his neck slightly afraid to meet the Pissed clone's gaze.

"Or is it the bringing kidnaped, experimented upon, and turned into a puppet part they have an issue about?" Asked Cody in a low growl.

"Because if that's how they feel they can sleep outside the dam ship, she saved my life countless times as well as passing on information for us to use against a sith who had the most powerful seat in the senate" Cody was on his feet now rage clearly shown on his face.

Volt gulped terrified before a soft voice spoke from the doorway "What's going on?" Barris asked clutching her brown Jedi robes tightly.

Cody was the first to speak in the awkward silence "Nothing for you to worry about Commander, just figuring out the sleeping arrangements....are you all packed for the mission?".

Barris nodded her body flinching slightly. Volt looked for a bag in her hand but didn't see anything, "Uh.....If you want I can take your bag to the ship" Volt offered to try to be as nonthreatening as possible.

Barris looked at the floor "that won't be a problem I'm good."

"it's ok commander I can take it for you" Volt smiled trying to be as friendly as possible, Cody mentally made a note to give Volt extra cleaning duty for making her nervous.

"I-I don't have a bag but thank you for offering Volt," Barris whispered addressing the floor.

Cody's head snapped to her, "wait yes you do, I gave you one for your birthday".

Barris flinched "most of my stuff at the temple was kinda thrown out".

Volt winced, he could feel the rage burning off of Cody, "why would they do that?" Volt was kinda afraid of Cody at the moment but didn't want his new commander to feel down.

"Volt you are dismissed," Cody said ruffly.

"But sir-" Volt started. Cody glared at him sending a very clear message.

Out.

The moment Volt left the room Cody walked over to Barris and hugged her close. He already knew who did it and why, Jedi could not have attachments or objects in their rooms, so they threw out anything that could lead to her forming any more attachments.
