The Rising

Limbo

Rex felt pain erupt through his body. 

it was the fourth time in that hour that this had happened, he knew that the pain was the result of one thing. Someone was torching Ahsoka. 

Rex stared at the wall in front of him as he fought the urge to scream, he could already hear Ahsoka's screams ringing from an unknown location. The black room was unbearably hot and was full of steam that made it difficult to see anything. 

Sweat dripped from his forehead as his blackies began to feel heavier and heavier, his restraints were no help either. reinforced with Force blocking metal it is harder for him to get his bearings on the area. 

Another scream made him jump, his arms pulling again at his restraints causing his restraints to cut into his wrists. he could barely feel it as a small trickle of blood rolled down his forearm underneath his blackies, he only stopped fighting to catch his breath. 

Rex's body had been getting more and more tired the longer he stayed in the room. 

"I see you still fight against the restraints," Said a strange voice Rex could barely make out in the haze. 

Rex huffed at the strange voice before he pulled harder against his restraints, that was of course until he felt electricity coursing through his body. 

Rex grit his teeth as the pain intensified, his nostrils filling with the smell of burning hair and skin. 

After another couple of seconds, the pain stopped causing Rex to slump slightly against his restraints. his body shaking slightly at the pain and shock before he was asked the same question he was asked almost every day for the last four days. 

"where are your children?" 

Rex heard the voice jus off to his right and with all his strength spat in the general direction of the speaker. 

There was silence for a good while until Rex felt the familiar volts of electricity coursing through him again. 

When the electricity stopped again Rex felt needles piercing his skin on his arms and legs. Rex yelled in pain as he felt something cold and heavy entering his blood system. 

There was laughing somewhere to Rex's right again as he huffed again, "don't worry, you will be freed soon, though I doubt you will be able to do much with what we gave you".  

Rex felt the cool material run through his blood before it reached his heart. once it did it felt as though some great weight was now permanently fixed on his chest holding him in. 

"what.....did.........you.......do?" Rex huffed out his body betraying him slightly. 

The voice chuckled slightly before speaking "oh that is simple, I have just injected you with a rare metal called benteria". 

Rex felt something inside him straining, as if something inside him was slowly disappearing with every passing second. 

Then he realized what the mad man was doing, his blood ran cold before he asked again. 

"what.....did....you do?".

There was a strange cackle but familiar cackle from the mad man. 

"oh little clone, what i did was simple" Rex could feel the person walking closer though his senses seemed to be getting duller by the second. 

When Rex finally caught sight of the man he immediately  recognized him. 

Dr. Nuvo Vindi. 

The mad doctor cackled again before he spoke "I took away your ability to use the force, i cant have my new lab rat escaping during an experiment..........now where shall we begin?".
