Bly yawned slightly as he finished his lengthy pile of paperwork that had piled up in his absence.
Alya was fast asleep on their bed after being thoroughly checked over by the medics and given the all-clear.
Bly smiled slightly at her form, half covered by the blankets half sprawled over the bed as if she was trying to imitate a starfish. He put down his datapad before getting up from the makeshift desk and walked over to her.
his children were fast asleep in a makeshift cradle next to Alya's side of the bed, her hand inches away from its rim, almost as though she had fallen asleep rocking them. They had grown slightly in her absence, and their skin color had become more vivid.
Bly smiled down at his children and gently pulled their small blanket to cover them a little more before turning to shift his wife.
This as it turned out was not only a difficult task but practically an impossible one.
No mater how hard he tried she would shift back to her original starfish position on the bed. he spent at least thirty minutes fighting her before he finally gave up. He pulled a part of the blanket that covered his wife over himself trying his best not to disturb her sleep as much as he already had.
He watched her chest rise and fall gracefully, out of everything that still surprised him in their marriage was her ability to sleep through practically everything. though he did notice that she pulled away from him slightly in her sleep before practically laying on top of him.
Though he didn't mind, he enjoyed having her close to him, it was extremely calming to know that she was close.
Especially now after getting her back.
Bly carefully laid around her body spooning her slightly, it didn't take more than a second before she cuddled close to him. He smiled slightly before he kissed her shoulder,
"Your warmer than before" Alya whispered making him jump nearly out of his skin.
"Why on earth didn't you move when I tried to get into bed?" Bly whispered slightly annoyed, slightly flirting.
"Because it was fun to watch you squirm around, and I liked how you held me" Alya whispered back her eyes still closed, though the corners of her mouth twitch slightly almost as if summiting to a wry smile. Bly carefully rubbed her exposed arm gently before he kissed her shoulder again.
"Your going to drive me to insanity one day cyare......you and our children I suspect"
Alya just giggled, "so they take after me do they?".
"Most definitely, though I suspect that they will cause more trouble than the both of Ahsoka Tano and my very terrifying wife" Bly whispered before he gently traced her Leku's.
Alya smiled before turning around so she was looking right at him, inches away from his face.
"You my dear husband are very well trained"
Bly chuckled slightly then commented as he smiled brightly at her, his hand gently pulling up the blanket he had brought over their forms.
"What can I say Cyare, you three are my world, I would do anything to make you ha-"
"Commander Bly your needed in the mission ops"
Bly closed his eyes at the infernal interruption.
Half annoyed.
Half pissed.
"Better answer my commander" Alya giggled before kissing him briefly. Bly smiled slightly his eyes still closed before he reached over to the communicator on his bedside table.
"Commander Bly here, I'll be there in ten".
Alya smiled before he pulled himself out of bed, completely calm and content.
That's when she felt it.
It was cold, unnerving and most certainly unpleasant.
Her body shivered and flinched automatically and the strange wave like sensation before her heart dropped to the very pit of her stomach.
Gorr was near.
