Doing the evaluations online felt strange because they all had to gather around the laptop screen to watch the others and it felt like they were just watching some videos instead of going through an evaluation. The weirdest part was when Alix and Jisung tried to give the others feedback and they had to make sure the camera showed them fully to pick up everything.
Since they were the last ones, their nervousness piled up. The boys were not that nervous because it was not their evaluation, but they still did not want to do them a disservice. In the end, even if they were not the ones being evaluated, their performance would be important for the teachers to see how it all looked as a group and not just as individuals.
The ones in Korea went first and Joontae and Lou joined the girls, but they were surprised when they saw Mika joining as well.
"Whose part are you doing, teacher?!" Eunae asked excitedly.
"Heejin's," she answered and got ready. "It would be unfair for you to work with one of the teachers while the girls here work with just the C1K boys, wouldn't it?"
Being compared to Mika made Heejin feel even more nervous, and she could relate to Iku, who was the one doing Renjun's -and therefore Alix's part- in the group in Korea. Working with C1K did not feel that strange because they had trained together for many years, but working with the teachers was a whole other story.
As soon as the team in Korea started, all of them paid full attention to even the smallest detail. Joontae was doing Eunae's part, Lou Juiyu's, Mika Heejin's, Iku Alix's, Nari Duyi's and Zia Axel's, so they all could not help but pay attention to the ones that were doing their part and take notes. Everyone but Alix, that is.
That team was exceptionally good, and they were shocked by how synchronised they were. Iku had some problems with the pitch during the high note but quickly saved it, so even that was not truly a mistake since she was able to recover very quickly and did not let her be faced in the slightest by her mistake.
"Wow! That was amazing!" Lin let out when they were done. "I seriously love co-ed evaluations."
"Yeah, me too," Soojin admitted. "But let's not get ahead of ourselves and watch the team in the UK before we start giving them our feedback. You can rest."
As the ones in Korea sat down with the rest and recovered their breaths, the ones in the UK stood up and quickly stretched and warmed up while Jisung got the music ready. Axel's parents were even watching them, so they felt even more pressured.
"Let's do a group cheer," Duyi said and they all brough their hands to the middle. "On the count of three let's say MusiQ and raise our hands with 'Fighting', okay?"
"One, two, three..." Alix started.
"MusiQ, fighting!"
Their yell was so loud that the ones in Korea nearly had to cover their ears, which made them laugh as they went to their places to get ready to perform.
"Come on, everyone! Let's go!" Jisung said before finally pressing play.
Duyi had to start the song and he immediately changed his expression to fit the song, changing it to a smirk. The first one to have to sing, or rap in this case, was Axel, however, and he had to make sure to do it a louder than usual since, even if they were wearing lapel microphones that Alix had brought so they could be evaluated fairly, the microphones were attached to their clothes and not right next to their mouths and they did not pick the sound as easily.
