Although that place was built for them to work, for Heejin it looked like an artist's playground as it truly was equipped with everything they needed. Dance practice rooms, vocal rooms and even music studios where they could work freely without needing to even book them in advance paired with several spaces designed for them to relax made it everything Heejin wanted and needed.
"Can't we just permanently live here?" she asked Juiyu as they went to the assembly hall on the first floor of the main building after attaching their nametags to their clothes. "I could get used to this."
"But maybe with my own phone, though," Juiyu pointed out, making Heejin chuckle.
"Yeah, with that."
Axel had just given her his new phone number where they would be able to talk, so it felt as double the blow for Heejin as she would no longer be able to talk to him right after finding the solution to their problem.
The Cosmos girls were already gathered in the assembly hall, so the girls greeted them again as they all took a seat waiting to be told what they had to do. Up until that moment they had just been asked to prepare their song «Breakthrough», so they had no idea how the program would go like or what tasks they would have to go through.
"Hello to all the trainees once again. We hope you had enough time to process everything and settle down," Shin Dara said going back to her MC mode. "Although we are sure you are tired from the trip here and want to rest so you can start working hard towards your debut as soon as possible, we thought it would be a fun idea to get your competitive side started, right, Axel?"
"That is right! Today marks the beginning of a new adventure and, what better way to kickstart it than by having a fun time together with each other?" Axel continued. "During these past couple weeks, I have seen all of the Breakthrough girls working on a song..."
"And I have seen the Cosmos girls working on some other songs too... So why don't you show each other what you have been working on? What do you think? Do you want to do it?"
"Yes!" They all exclaimed.
"Not really!" Eunae said not as loud, although everyone still heard her and burst out laughing.
"You have nothing to worry about, Jang Eunae," Dara told her. "Since all of the Cosmos girls wanted to do it, should we start while Jang Eunae tries to gather her courage?"
After playing a game of rock paper scissors, the first Cosmos team moved to the platform and the staff handed them microphones as they quickly warmed up and got ready to perform. They were nervous, even though they were excited to do it, so their labelmates as well as the Breakthrough girls cheered for them to try to make them calm down and see that they were just there to have fun and they had nothing to worry about.
"I'm proud to present our first Cosmos trainees with ResQ's «Save Me, Save You». Girls, the stage is yours!" Dara said as Axel and her moved out of the stage to let them perform.
As they were all trainees, they had never seen each other perform and did not know what to expect, but off the bat the girls already knew they were up for a great performance. It was not the hardest dance or song ResQ had -nor was it the most popular-, but they were having a lot of fun on stage, which in turn made the ones watching them have fun as well. Some of the Breakthrough girls knew the dance as they had done it for an evaluation, so they were even more aware of how they were performing.
