The day of the final show. The dreaded D-Day. The moment that would determine their futures. To say they were all about to pass out from their nervousness would be just an understatement.

They had gotten inside the bus to go to Seoul at five in the morning and begun their rehearsals as soon as they got there, but they always made sure that neither team saw the other's performance. They wanted to keep those secret in order to get genuine reactions from the opposite team, so while they rehearsed those, they told the other team to go out to get some coffee or do just about anything outside the venue.

They only stopped for lunch at around one, and after that they continued preparing everything for the final show. They had to get their makeup and hair done as well as put on their clothes for the first performances, so they started doing that at three. The venue would open at six and the show would start at seven, so they had to be quick so they had time to calm down and have a quick talk with their seniors before starting.

"I swear to god I'll punch you in the face at this rate, Axel," Eunae told her brother, who kept teasing her for her nervousness while they got ready. "You knew you were going to debut for sure when they told you but I'm still not sure of what will happen, so just quit teasing me already because I'm sure you'd be even worse than me if you were in my position."

"I highly doubt that," he retorted.

"Have you already forgotten how you were like before our debut?" Kiwoo asked him confused. "You were about to shit your pants."

"Whose side are you on?!" Axel said turning to him. "I was just trying to tease my sister!"

"Even if he is your groupmate, Kiwoo was my friend first," Eunae said and high-fived Kiwoo. "Choose allies wisely."

"Can you two not bicker every single time you are together?" Heejin asked, rolling her eyes. "I get it's peak sibling energy, but you are just bickering all the freaking time."

"Nah, it's too much fun to stop," they both said at the exact same time.

"Okay, fine, whatever. I'll go and find my own siblings."

As Younghoon was in charge of directingOnyx's performance and Min had helped with the set decorations, they were at the venue at that moment waiting for the show to start while meeting everyone and getting to know the rest of the staff. Younghoon was the most interested in finding contacts inside the industry, so he was making sure to introduce himself to every single staff member and hopefully get them to remember him.

"Hoon!" Heejin exclaimed once she saw him talking to a staff member fixing one of the lights on the stage.

"Oh, Heejin!" he turned to her with a smile and said goodbye to the staff to approach his sister. "Do you need anything?"

"Not really, I just wanted to talk to you," she said with a nervous smile.

"You are really worried and need someone to cheer you up, don't you?" He read her like a book, and she just nodded. "Look, there is absolutely no one in this earth that deserves this more than you. You have worked hard, you have the talent, you are passionate about this, you are caring... Have some faith, okay? I'm sure everyone has already told you many times, but the world won't end if you don't debut through this show. Do you really think that with all the love you have all been receiving from the public your CEOs won't find a way to debut the rest of you sooner or later?"

"I'm not worried about me anymore, to be honest. I'm worried about the others. Even if they keep me in the basement for longer, I can still work in the industry by selling my songs and I'd still be doing what I love, but the others just long for the stage. Their passion revolves around being on stage and releasing their own music," Heejin told him. "Just a couple hours ago I was comforting a crying Zia. Do you realise how much it breaks my heart to see my groupmate crying from the helplessness of not being able to be in control of her own future? I'm the leader of the team, but I can't just hand out empty promises when the final results are in the hands of the public. Even if we won, how can I look at the other team after that? How can I celebrate it in front of them?"
