Once they arrived at Busan, they were taken to a guest house located just over two hundred meters away from the beach. They seemed to have rented all of it as no one else was there and they had put up a sign with Breakthrough and Cosmos by the entrance, so when they hopped off the bus they just looked around the place in awe.
"Why did you not tell me we would be coming here?" Eunae asked Lee Soojin as they picked up their bags from the luggage compartment of the bus.
"Surprise?" Soojin chuckled.
Heejin had no idea what they were talking about, so she just picked up her things and waited with the others by the entrance as Soojin went inside to talk to the owner of the guest house and sign all the needed paperwork so they could all head inside.
"Eunae, dear!" A woman in her late fifties said as she opened the door and wrapped Eunae in a tight hug. "It's been so long!"
"Nice to see you!" Eunae said as she hugged her back. "It really has been long. How are you?"
"Still trying to adjust to having to do this on my own, but good nonetheless," she said with a sad smile. "I wish your uncle was here to watch you grow up so beautifully."
"I want to visit him before we go," Eunae said and hugged the woman again. "Where is Aeri?"
"She's currently working in Kwangju, so I only see her through our calls. As you can see, it gets pretty lonely here. With my elder sister in Daejeon and your parents in England I'm basically alone in here now."
Everyone wanted to ask how Eunae knew that woman, but they just waited in silence by the entrance to see if they could go inside or if Eunae would introduce them. Although the woman was nearing her sixties, it was only visible though her smile lines and faint wrinkles on her face. Other than that, she appeared to be a lot younger and her long hair gave her a more youthful look that definitely suited her.
"Oh, everyone, she is my aunt, Kang Dasom, my mother's sister," Eunae finally introduced her.
Heejin's body immediately stiffened as she said that. She was expecting her to be a family friend, but definitely not a relative. As far as she knew only her parents and Eunae were aware of Axel and Heejin dating, but meeting his aunt so suddenly was not in her bucket list.
"You had a long trip, so let me show you around the guest house so you can take a nap and relax," Dasom told them and guided them inside.
As soon as you entered the building, to the left was the reception and to the right was a small kitchen area. The place looked small from the outside but, although it was narrow, it was exceptionally long and there was a corridor that led to different rooms as well as what appeared to be a backyard.
"As I was told you would be playing some games to decide the rooms, let me quickly tell you a few basic things, although I'm sure I don't even need to tell you," Dasom told them once they were all inside. "No smoking is allowed here; there is free Wifi and I left the password on your rooms so you can connect to it later; if you find anything is broken, dirty or whatever you must tell me as soon as you see it so that we can replace and see what's wrong; and the only rule about noise is that after eleven at night you need to keep the volume at a level which won't disturb any of the people leaving near this place. There is a karaoke room in this floor that is soundproof, so if you wish to be a little bit louder you can go in there."
Indeed, the rules were almost common knowledge and basic decency, so they were sure no one would have problems with it. Even at the training site -where people did not go to sleep until very late at night and there were no other buildings nearby- they lowered the volume as soon as midnight approached, so it was not that different to what they usually did.
