Axel did not try to contact Heejin in the following days, but she did not even have time to think about that as she was incredibly busy with the group songs. While helping Zia with her track she had also been supervising the dance team as they prepared the dance for «Perfect World», so she was always running around the trainees' den working. Still, she always found some time off to relax and talk to her family or simply just listen to other people's music, but she never dared to check the comments under the program, especially the ones from that Friday, in which the first solo songs were shown. She did not know if hers had appeared, but she was not ready to know either.
"Heejin..." Iku sat down beside her in the practice room and laid her head on her shoulder. "I'm so tired!"
"You should go to sleep, then." Heejin told her, patting her head. "It's one in the morning already, we should all go to sleep."
"When should we come back tomorrow?" Nari asked as she stopped the music. "Not too early if we want to sleep decently, though."
"Let's go with ten, that way we can sleep at least eight hours and eat breakfast," Heejin told them. "Zia is nearly done with her song, so I'm guessing the lyrics team will be with her tomorrow in the morning."
"And you?" Juna asked.
"I'll come and go, just like right now."
Although no one told her to do it, Heejin kept taking care of everything both directly and indirectly. She did not take an active role in the choreographing team since she wanted to let the other girls shine, but she still shared some suggestions and such whenever they were stuck, so even part of the choreography was hers. No matter how much she was asked to do, she always managed to end up doing more.
"Heejin!" Eunae called her, opening the door of the practice room with her phone on her ear. "Can you come for a second?"
As she was not doing anything at that moment, she quickly stood up and followed Eunae out of the practice room.
"What's up?" she asked.
"I'm on the phone with Han Jisung, he has been trying to contact you for a while now," Eunae told her, handing her the phone. "He won't tell me what it is."
Confused, Heejin picked up the phone, and right at that moment she heard the sounds of a baby crying and her jaw dropped low.
"Don't tell me-!" she exclaimed with a big smile on her face.
"I guess he wanted to announce it before me! Tell the girls Han Hyeonwoo has just been born. I wanted to tell you before any of the others since you were also one of the first to know."
"Oh, my days! Congratulations! I love the name!"
"Thank you. If everything goes according to plan we will be going back home from the hospital on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning, so we'll try to get you to meet him whenever you come to film one of the music videos for the next task. Gosh, I'm smiling like an idiot right now, I swear. The boys are going to tease me so bad!"
"I cannot wait to meet him. I will hang up now so you can spend more time with him and Alix. Congratulate her on our behalf."
After saying goodbye, Heejin hung up the call and turned to Eunae, hugging her tightly and jumping up and down from the excitement.
"They just had their baby!" Heejin finally explained, making Eunae just as excited. "The second member of the BabyQ squad!"
"One would think we are the ones having a baby." Eunae pointed out and they laughed. "Let's tell the others."
Since not all of them were in the same place, they first told the girls in the dance practice room before going to the studio. All of them were ecstatic about the news, but since they were tired and they could do nothing more about it than congratulating Alix and Jisung through messages, they all went to the dorms to go to sleep and stop for the day. They desperately wanted to meet Hyeonwoo but, being so many and so far away, waiting did not seem like a bad idea at all.
