With Mrs Kim gone once again, Heejin was able to fully concentrate on the song and dance for her evaluation as well as the preparations for her release with Axel for the WonderQ-28 project. They were doing the photoshoot before even recording the video, so they were at the studio soon later ready for their photoshoot.
"Were you able to see the concept pictures?" Axel asked her as they got their hair and makeup done by the stylists while waiting for Hong Byeongho to be done with another photoshoot. "I checked them out yesterday and they definitely weren't what I was expecting."
"I actually haven't. I told the CEO's I didn't really care about the concept since I am obviously comfortable around you, so I told them to just choose whatever they wanted," she admitted. "Why weren't you expecting it, though?"
"I don't know if we'll end up doing it, but one of the pictures they showed me as a reference involved us nearly kissing," he told her.
Even if she wanted to say that it did not matter because they were dating, there were stylists around as well as Dani, Axel's manager, so she could not say anything and simply looked at him knowingly through the reflection in the mirror while he winked.
"Heejin, come here when you are done with the makeup," one of the stylists told her.
"Give me a minute and she's all yours," the stylist doing her makeup said.
"Do any of you happen to know whose photoshoot is going on right now?" Axel asked curiously.
"BCR Vision. They are having a comeback soon," Dani answered.
"Hikaru again? I must look like a stalker or something," Heejin muttered to herself and shook her head.
"You're done, Axel. You can get dressed," his makeup artist told him.
"Thank you. Heejin, don't peek!" he joked as he picked up the suit.
"Half of the country has seen you wearing just swimming trunks, so nothing new to see there," she teased him.
Even if they had to lie to others and pretend they were not dating, they had to admit that they had fun with it most of the time as they could tease each other and playfully bicker without anyone knowing the subtext of their conversations or suspecting anything. To the rest they felt like really good friends, so no one ever said anything.
After Axel was done putting on his suit, Heejin picked up her clothes and hid behind a small curtain they had to change. Once she was done putting on her dress, she approached the stylist to put on all the accessories.

"Wow..." Axel let out without noticing.
"Do you like it?" Heejin posed.
"You look like a model," he admitted.
"Pity I'm lacking in the height department," she said and they both laughed.
"Great things come in small packages!" Axel told her.
