"Have you heard about it? I wasn't expecting it at all."

"Announcing a single before they have even released their album? They will be very busy."

"I guess they want to clear his image really badly."

The girls from Cosmos kept whispering things like that around the trainees' den and the dorms, so inevitably the ones from Breakthrough heard it as well and were becoming increasingly curious. Unlike them, in Cosmos they had access to their phones once a week, so they could keep track of what was going on outside of their program and check what the public thought of them, so it was not unusual to hear things like that around the building on Sundays, their phone day.

"At least they could say who's releasing the single," Iku rolled her eyes. "They always say it, so why not this time? I want to hear the gossip!"

"I'm so close to just asking them!" Lihua admitted. "Who are releasing an album around this time?"

"As far as I know, Youth VT is releasing a mini-album, Scarlet Sunset a single and, well, C1K their full album. I guess it's Youth VT," Juna told them. "C1K didn't have any plans of releasing singles the last time we talked to them, so it must be them."

"Actually, it's C1K," Zia said as she sat down beside them. "I just asked one of them and they said Axel will be releasing a single."

"Now I kind of get the thing about clearing his image..." Iku muttered. "But a single? Now? Are they going to have another solo project this year?"

"I bet it's just he asked the CEOs and the members if he could," Eunae explained. "On their contract it says that they can release solo music as long as all of the members are in favour, so he must have asked them."

"Still... When are they even going to release the album?" Xia asked curiously. "They've been working on it for ages."

"On the twenty-second. I asked the boys on Christmas," Heejin told them. "They must be releasing the teasers and all now since there's less than two weeks left."

"I really hope we can watch the music video at least..." Juiyu sighed. "But, anyway, we only have two days left until recording!"

Unlike for the other tasks, they were going to be filming a music video each that they had to plan and manage under a budget with the help of a creative team. They all had already discussed their ideas with the staff, but they had yet to film them.

"I swear Heejin is my saviour," Juna told the girls. "She not only made my song but also helped me with the music video."

"You just asked for help. I couldn't refuse," Heejin told her. "I bet you could still have done it on your own."

"Maybe I could, but your vision of the song really mattered to me, so I wanted you to be involved as well," Juna told her. "Also, your ideas were all amazing."

Heejin understood Juna had asked her because from the very beginning -no matter how much she insisted- Juna kept telling her that the song was and would always be hers because of its meaning. At first, she hated it because she had told her many times she did not want anything to do with the song but thinking about her visualization of it made her realise that helping her would not be so bad. She even went as far as to lend her part of the money from her budget for clothes so Juna could wear more of them and fit the style of the music video.

"Who's filming first?" Xia asked.

"As far as I know we are leaving in batches since we aren't filming in the same place. They really threw the budget out the window with this one," Heejin answered. "Juiyu and Lihua will probably stay the latest since they have night scenes."
