83. RUBY

"What's going on?" Heejin asked no one in particular, still trying to process what just happened.

Seeing all of Enhypen with them on stage was too surreal. They were not that much older than them, seeing as Zia and Xia were the same age as Niki, but they were still their seniors, so they did not see them as anything other than that.

"Surprise?" Heeseung told her and laughed. "Wow, your faces are priceless."

"What are you all doing here? What is going on?" Heejin continued, still not believing their eyes. 

"Hello, everyone, we are Enhypen!" Jungwon introduced them formally and they bowed, the girls doing the same immediately after. "We came here to show our support for the girls and see them performing their renditions of our tracks."

"You were all amazing, seriously," Jay told them as Sapphire went on stage as well, helping Lihua join them. "You were all outstanding."

"Thank you..." Heejin said, still a bit confused and taken aback by the situation. 

"Heejin, you didn't even react like this when you first saw Sunghoon! What's going on?" Jake called her out, making Heejin send him a death glare. "It's true!"

"Jake, maybe it's the fact that she is literally standing beside the person whose part she performed for the past three songs?" Sunghoon told him. "She even admitted he was her bias."

"No, it Is just... I-" she stuttered. "I do not even know why I am like this! I am never like this."

To that, Axel burst out laughing so loud that everyone could hear him despite not having a mic or anything on him. He really had never seen her acting like that and he found it endearing and funny at the same time. What she did not realise was that Heeseung aside from being her bias in Enhypen had been her celebrity crush when she was younger, just that she confused her crush with simple admiration. Of course, she did not actually like him, but seeing him in person awoke her dormant younger self.

Although Axel was definitely having the most fun, Heeseung was not far behind. He had been following the program thanks to Jake, so seeing the otherwise calm and collected Heejin acting like that made him almost feel accomplished. He pulled Heejin on a hug with a smile, trying to get her to calm down, but achieving the opposite.

"Can I suggest something?" Sunoo raised his hand. "It was brought to our attention that Heejin knows the dances to basically all of our title tracks."

"I think I know what you are going to say, and I do not know if I like it," Heejin blurted out, making everyone laugh.

"Come on! Dance something with Heeseung! The performance of the aces."

"But I am not the ace!"

"Yes, you are!" The rest of the girls said, startling her.

"Oh! Okay... I guess..."

"Which one do you want to do?" Heeseung asked her. 

"I... I do not know."

"«Fever»!" Juiyu and Eunae exclaimed.

"Oh, yes! «Fever»!" The others quickly agreed.

"I hate you, guys..." Heejin muttered. "All right, fine. Let's do that one."

She was really nervous about performing with him, but she tried to calm down as best as she could to be able to dance properly. After all, she was going to do his part beside him, so she really needed to be spot on with the little nuances of the choreography.

"Fighting!" Everyone exclaimed as they moved to the side to give them some space and as the staff quickly searched for the song to play it.
