Around a week later, just a couple of days before the video for «Don't» would be released, the «Libido» team gave the announcement that their song was ready and soon everyone gathered at the venue to watch them perform. Heejin had been struggling to find a song she could cover for the evaluations in the meantime, so it was the perfect excuse for her to try to take her mind off it and watch their performance.

"We'll see if I was right or not today!" Juiyu told her as they went inside the venue.

"What are you talking about?" Iku asked her curiously.

"Nothing, don't worry. I just told her the other day that the performance must be amazing from what I've heard, so we'll see!" Juiyu quickly lied, knowing Heejin would not want Iku to know.

Although Heejin was close to all of the old female trainees and Axel was close to the male ones and Jaemin, they both knew that the more people they told about their relationship the harder it would become to manage it, so they chose to keep it secret and laugh along when they teased them about how close they were or how the teaser pictures looked.

"The boys are changing backstage already. I heard Leah even prepared outfits for them," Iku said as they waited for the performance to start. They were sitting on the first row and Heejin was very scared about that after what Juiyu told her. "How do you think the outfits will be? After all, the song is called «Libido» and they had a sexy concept."

"Whatever they wear, I am sure they will put their muscular bodies to good use," Jaehyun said, sitting right behind Iku.

"I am really excited for this group, to be honest. Jax, Axel, Joontae and Jaemin in the same group. Three already debuted idols and an actor in the same team," Jonah, one of the new trainees, said as he sat down beside Jaehyun.

"Even if they didn't debut with them, Tawi and Alex are amazing performers as well," Heejin told him. "Obviously, you too, Jaehyun. It's a pity you could not get to debut."

"There had to be a cut somewhere in the line-up and it happened to be there. There will be another time. As the teachers said, we will all get to debut someday," Jaehyun assured her. "You should be more worried about yourself. You have been here for more than four and a half years."

Although she did not like even thinking about it, she had to admit that she sometimes thought about whether she had made the right decision refusing to debut as a soloist. It had been around a year since the CEOs offered it to her, yet there were no signs of even having a project team. Whether on purpose or not, the C1K members had been together on more than one evaluation as just them, but that had not happened with Heejin, at least that she knew of. She liked training and she knew that thanks to the WonderQ project she would have many opportunities to show her skills, but she had joined the company to debut, and she had refused to do it when they gave her the opportunity.

"Are you okay? Sorry to bring it up. I did not think it would affect you that much," Jaehyun worriedly asked her.

"No, don't worry. It's okay," she quickly told him. She had not told anyone other than Axel about the offer -and in his case it technically had been Alix-, so she could not talk to anyone about it.

"The performance will start in five minutes. In the meantime, here you have the first pass for Axel and Heejin's video for «Don't»," Mika said through the speakers.

"Wait, what the-?!" Heejin let out just before the lights turned off and the screens turned on.
