Y/N POV

Junior year wrapped up pretty well. Sage is growing to be such a good little boy. He's starting to talk and walk already. He's only 9 months. Anna and I have been doing well on educating him early but not too much. Just enough that he can say a few things. Anna even taught him a few things in sign language. I think it's pretty cool.

Anna came back to school and started soccer back. She's still captain and we've both been doing good in keeping up with our own education while having a baby. I will say Sage is such an easy baby.

Basketball couldn't get any better than it was. I committed to UConn and the whole coaching staff loves Sage and understands my life "situation". I wouldn't really call it a situation more like a blessing. But they know what happened to Anna and they respect our decision of keeping him and caring for him.

He really is such a blessing. He barely cries, he's always smiling, he sleeps a lot, uses his words when he needs something, he does run into a lot of things but he's fine. He's a tough little thing. He's made my life so much better.

Anna was in the shower at the moment. I knocked on the door "Baby where's Sage?!" I asked Anna through the door "He's in here. I didn't know where you were so, I brought him with me." Anna said. I opened the door to see Sage sitting in front of the sink with torn up toilet paper all around him. "Mama!" He excitedly said as he threw the toilet paper up in the air "play!" He clapped his hands

"Anna you get to clean up the mess your son made. Have fun with that!" She popped her head from behind the curtain "aww man, Sage! Dude not cool!" He started to tear up "Bad?" He asked "This is a no no Sagey" he started to cry "Bad!" He stood up and put his arms in the air for me to grab him

"Aww buddy it's ok. Shhhhh mommy isn't mad at you" I picked him up and rocked him back and forth as he laid his head on my shoulder. I started to play with his little brown curls as he cried"Baby, mommy didn't mean to make you sad, but you have to understand that's a red. You can't do that." Anna said

"Wed" he said pointing to himself. He makes it so hard to be mad at him when his cute voice comes through and him not being able to say his R's is the cutest thing. "Yeah that was a red but, we can fix that. Let's do better next time ok?" Anna said still in the shower "Ok" He said still teary eyed. His little sniffles shook his body as he wiped his face"Now give mommy a kiss and get ready for bed"

I brought our son to Anna and he kissed her on the cheek and then I kissed her lips "Good parenting babes"

"Babes!" Sage shouted with a cute little smile that looked just like Anna's "you're such a little booger" I said tickling Sage to the point where he was uncontrollably laughing. I stopped tickling him and looked at Anna as our laughter died down "I love you"

"I love you too"

"I luh u!" Sage added with his high squeaky voice "We love you" Anna and I said at the same time to our son

"Ok booger it's bed time. Can you say night night to mommy?" He smiled again

"Night night" He said as he rested his head back on my shoulder "tired" He added with a little sigh "Ok bud let's go to bed" I placed my hand on his back and lightly patted "Night Moon?" He asked

"Yeah I'll read it to you" I kissed Anna one last time and headed over to his room. "Koby!" He yelled "Do you see Koby the Koala?" I pretend not to see him "There!" He pointed to the ground. I leaned down enough so Sage could grab him.

Once he got him Sage tightly squeezed the Koala not letting go. "Alright I think Koby wants to read with us. What do you say?"

"Yay!" He cheered. I sat down in the rocking chair and grabbed the book. I grabbed the bottle of breast milk and started to read

"Goodnight air, Goodnight noises everywhere" I whispered out and closed the book. I looked down to see Sage knocked out on my chest. I kissed his forehead which made him softly snuggle into me more "Getting quite good at putting you to bed myself buddy." I said as I slowly took the bottle out of his mouth.

I stood up and grabbed Koby off the chair bringing him to the crib as well "See you in the morning Koby" I put Sage in his sleep sack and turned on the noises. I put the book away and grabbed the bottle. Then turning off the light and softly closing the door

I walked into Anna and I's room. "Is he asleep?" Anna asked as she put her panties on "Yes he is without a fuse too." I said as I came and wrapped my arms around Anna's body. She leaned into my embrace for a second and just sighed "How are we doing this. I mean at such a young age. I'm only eighteen but somethings never felt so right." I kissed her shoulder and looked at her through the mirror "Same here. That little ray of sunshine is the best thing that's ever happened to me. Well... other than you." I said with a soft chuckle kissing her shoulder again.

She turned in my arms to look at me. She sighed and just hugged me. "My life couldn't be any better"
