Chapter 114

It has been a couple of months since Anna and I had alone time. These kids are cockblocks.

"Hi honey" I said kissing her neck from behind her. I placed my hand under her shirt, on her stomach, rubbing softly

She stopped putting her mascara on and smiled to me in the mirror. I turned her around, kissing her sweetly. When we pulled away I smiled at her trying to pull in for a more lust filled kiss

"Mommy, mama! We're hungry!" some little monster said. I sighed kissing my wife's cheek before turning to our door and opening it.

"What would you like to eat dear?" I asked picking up Annie as I saw here lifting her arms for me

She put her finger on her chin in thought. I couldn't help but to smile at my daughters antics "Ice cream!" She said with a bright smile

"Try again" I said

Her shoulders slumped and she placed her little hands on my face, looking in my eyes with a pout "please" she begged. She tried using those pretty little eyes of hers, but I've been working on resisting. I'd like to say I'm doing a much better job

"Sorry kiddo, but I can't give you ice cream for breakfast. You need something that'll give you fuel for your day and no ice cream is not that fuel" I said before she could say anything else 

She huffed "Can I have pancakes with strawberries and blueberries with bacon then?" She asked looking disappointed

"Now that's something I can do for you" I kissed her head and placed her on the ground "Can you go get the twins please and get Riley to help you" I said

"The twins are already downstairs" Annie said

They have been climbing out of their cribs and down the stairs frequently now. I want to get them actually beds but I know that'll just be even easier for them. I huffed and shook my head as I walked down the stairs

I started breakfast before Anna came down "Smells good in here baby" she said kissing my shoulder

I smile and plate the food and turn around "Thank you" I place it on the table and turn around "It's my turn to take them to school?" I asked and she nodded.

"Mama, can Stella come over after school?" He asked

"Sure" we both said together

"Wait." Anna said "Is that project I told you to get done done?" He looked at her with a look "If the project isn't somewhat finished today at school then she can't come over" she said

He rolled his eyes and sighed "Okay"

We smiled "Good parenting" I said high fiving her as we walked into the kitchen

"I don't have to be to the facility until ten. Meaning, we have an hour when I get back from taking the kids to school" I said hinting

"I have work" she said

"But today's Tuesday! You never go to work on Tuesdays!" I pouted

She patted my cheek and kissed it "Well, now I have a big project I'm working on and they need me there so, I have to go in." She shrugged and walked over to get a cup of coffee

I sulked and cleaned up the mess I made in the kitchen. I started to mumble "What was that?" Anna asked

"Nothing, my love" I said and made my way back to the table to sit down. She hummed and followed me

"Mommy can we play later?"Ever asked while she stuffed her mouth with food. Anna laugh softly and closed the space between us, sitting on my lap. I wrapped my arm around her, holding her so close to me. She played with my curls while we listened to our children
