Anna POV

Last day before our honeymoon. Finally

I was in my office finishing up some editing when I heard the door open.

"Mommy we're home" Y/N said as I heard her drop her keys in the bowl and close the door

"I'm in here!" I yelled out into the house

"Come on Munchkin, let's take your shoes off and you can go see mommy" Y/N said

"Mommy!" I heard my son cheer

A minute later I heard little feet slapping against the wood of the floor

"Walk baby!" Y/N yelled out causing the feet to slow down

I looked up from my computer waiting for my sons arrival

I heard a very light knock on the door. Y/N's been teaching him how to knock to show respect for someone's privacy

"Mommy?" I heard from behind the cracked door. I saw the door slowly start to open so I rested my head on my arms that laid atop my desk pretending to be asleep

"Mama go?" I heard him ask softly

"Yeah you can go in" I heard the door creak and the little patter of feet came to my side

"Mommy?" He pulled on my shirt

"Mama, mommy night night?" I wanted to laugh at how adorable he was but kept my composure

"I don't know I think you should have a better look"

"Mommy?" He said this time hitting my side. Not rough enough that it hurt, he's very gentle, just enough to get my attention.

"Mommy" he whined

"Rawrrr!" I said popping up and scaring Sage

He screamed running behind Y/N's legs but still peaking behind them

"Mommy scared you didn't she sagey" he nodded at my wife and laughed

"Mommy?" He said coming out from behind Y/N

"Yes baby?" I said taking my glasses of and closing my computer for the day

"Hug?" He said reaching out to me.

I smiled at him and stood up from my chair. " of course I'll give you a hug, my baby boy" I scooped him up in my arms as he wrapped his arms around me and squeezed

He sighed as I ran my fingers through his hair

He's been very clingy to us as of lately. I mean I don't mind I love how affectionate he is. I don't know how he's going to do without us for a week. We've never been apart that long

"How was day care today baby?" I sighed moving from side to side as I kissed my wife

"It was good. He got to play with Evan today and he learned the colors of the rainbow" Y/N said rubbing his back

"Mmmm that sounds fun! How was your day my love" I asked leaning into her

"It was ok. It was slow today. I had a few oil changes, but nothing too exciting" she said with a shrug. I nodded and hummed

"How about your day? Hmm? Was it good? Not to stressful I hope." She said kissing my temple as Sage played with her fingers

"No today wasn't stressful just long,but now I get to have a vacation with my sexy wife and just relax...maybe do some other things" I raised an eyebrow at her as she gulped. I love how I can still make her nervous
