Anna POV

"Ok so what's some more E names? We need one for the other baby" I said looking down at my wife

I was straddling her with one of my hands tucked into her waistband and the other hold my phone writing down names in my notes while her hands rubbed my sides

"Evan?" Y/N said and i shook my head "Thats too common"

"Yeah ok ANNA" she rolled her eyes. I playfully slapped her chest and we laughed together

I put my phone down and started rubbing her bare stomach while we just smiled at each other "Who would've thought we'd have the perfect lives at eighteen? Almost three kids, nice house, nice cars, careers that are only going up from here, and I get to wake up next to you everyday" I said

"Even if we didn't have this perfect life, all I care about is you, Sage, and our twins" she said.

She leaned up and lightly kissed my nose

"I try to be romantic one time! And of course my wife is more romantic...like always" I roll my eyes which causes Y/N to laugh underneath me

"I'm sorry baby. It's just how I feel. Next time I won't say anything, but for now let's get up and get Sage ready for his appointment, yeah?" She said softly drumming her fingers on my thighs

I softly rub my thumb over her bottom lip and her scar "Yeah let's go" she pecked my lips and stood up still holding me as I squealed

I quickly wrapped my arms around her neck as she started to spin "Y/N/N put me down! I'm gonna be sick!"

She stopped and put me down on the ground before her hands found my waist. She pulled me against her and looked into my eyes

"You're so beautiful" she whispered and put some hair behind my ear. I smiled and hugged her

"Stop being so romantic and let's go" I said

The doctor came into the room stopping the tapping of my foot. I shot up and walked to him

"So we ran some test and your son does indeed have savant syndrome. He's actually a very brilliant little boy for his age. Symptoms of savant syndrome don't usually show so early." The specialist said

"So w-what does that mean? Is he autistic?" I asked impatient with him not getting to the full point

"Calm down dude, let the man speak" Anna said holding my arm

"No your son is not autistic. It's actually very rare. Approximately 1 out of 1500 people that have CNS deficits or are abled differently other than autism have savant syndrome. In Sage' case, he is not autistic. Only about 1% of people with savant abilities are part of the non-autistic population"

"So is he CNS deficient?" Anna asked

What the fuck is that?

"No he's not" the doctor said and Anna sighed in relief

"Sorry for my language but, what the fuck is that?" I asked earning nails digging into my bicep

"Ow" I whisper yelled moving my arm

The doctor chuckled and placed his hands into his pockets "Well, having a CNS deficiency refers to abnormal function of a body area. This altered function is due to weaker function of the brain, spinal cord, muscles, or nerves. Sage has none of that and is a healthy, strong boy."

Him telling me this just made me feel so much better. I could live knowing that my baby boy wouldn't be suffering or struggling through any of that. I do feel bad for the parents and kids who have to go through that.
