Y/N POV

Christmas is right around the corner and Jhett and I are currently shopping for my pregnant girlfriend and she already got something for Skylar so she's just helping me

"Get her a bucket of ice cream you know she's always craving it." I looked at her unamused "I can get her ice cream anytime idiot. I need something good" I started to think really hard as we walked throughout the mall. What would she want for our first child? Lightbulb!

"I got it!" Jhett jumped up as I yelled catching her off guard "A keepsake box!" She looked at me with confusion written all over her face "a what?"

"You know a keepsake box! It's like a little book. On side of the "book" has like tiny little drawers where you can put like "baby's first haircut" and then like a lock of hair then on the other side is like a scrap book and you can put pictures and the birth certificate or something like that." I was so excited about my gift

"She's going to love that!"

- (Christmas day)

Everyone was opening presents. Jhett got Skylar a necklace and Skylar Jhett the shoes she wanted. My dad gave my mom a shirt that said grandma and my dad ironically got a shirt that said grandpa. Anna's parents gave eachother money which they do every year because they gave up on gifts. Brandon got tickets to the Lakers game and I gave Tommy tools to fix his own damn car

"Ok Anna you're turn" my mother said she sat up and started to open gifts. Once she got to mine I don't know why but I was really nervous. She opened it "it's a keepsake box for our baby's firsts" she looked up "I love it. Thank you baby" she leaned forward and gave me a chaste kiss before grabbing her gift for me

"Your turn" when I felt it it was so light but it was a huge box. I cut the box open to see another box I took that box out and cut that one to see yet another box "Anna bro why?" I whined as I kept taking a box out and opened another to see yet another damn box

It kept getting smaller and smaller. I finally got to a pretty small box and when I opened it it was a small silver band. Anna took it out of my hands and got on one knee "Dad am I  doing this right?" She whispered to him "Yes sweetheart" he whispered back

I stood up "Oh no. Oh no, no, no. I was supposed to do this! Damnit Anna I bought a ring already!" I whined as I stomped my foot. She laughed "Y/N Y/L/N, my love, my soulmate, my best friend, I know we're so young but, we're going to be parents soon and I love you more than life itself. Being broken up for that month was the hardiest thing to deal with. It showed me that I don't want to be without you. I want you for the rest of my life. So with that being said...will you marry me?"

I rolled my eyes annoyed that she proposed to me and annoyed how good she was at this "ughhh why am I so in love with you?"

"Sooo is that a yes" I shook my head and took a deep breathe in and out "Yes, it's a yes"I smirked as she popped up and jumped onto me   wrapping her arms around my neck"Dang your heavy, you need to eat less. You almost broke my neck. Oh wait oops forgot. Baby in the oven" I said messing with her "Stop being childish for two seconds Y/L/N and put the ring on" I put the silver band on my finger feeling the coldness hit my skin "Now we really look married" she said showing her diamond ring.

"Soon fiancé we will be" saying that out of my mouth made goosebumps. "Ok stop being so cute and let's eat" Brandon said walking into the dinner table "Congratulations kids" my dad said I was happy, content with now knowing I was to marry Anna

That night we ate dinner and just had a good time laughing and talking. I held Anna the whole time we sat and talked. I didn't want to let go. I was in love with my best friend. My future was going to be with my best friend.

I just got out of the shower and walked into my room and went to my closet. Anna was reading her book but didn't look very interested in the book once I came back out with my sports bra and the underwear she gave me. "Wearing the underwear I see" I laughed "Gotta represent the fiancé!" I said crawling onto the bed

I put the book mark in Anna's book and put it on my nightstand on her side of the bed also carefully taking her glasses off her face and placed them on top of the book. I returned and laid in between her legs. Putting my head on her stomach "Hey little booger. I hope your not giving mommy much trouble. She's really strong and I hope you know that. We can't wait to see you and meet you. We love you..even if you're a girl" I said with a chuckle. Anna slapped me in my head

"Ouch! I know you're a boy but, I'll let mommy think it's a girl." I whispered before putting my head in her shirt and just laying my head against her bare stomach. "I really do love you even if you aren't biologically mine. You'll still be my kid" I whispered and kissed her stomach

"We're gonna be amazing parent, my love" Anna whispered to me as she slipped her head into her shirt to see me laying in there "and I can't wait"
