Y/N POV

Today's the day. Court.

"Daddy can you tie my tie please?" Riley asked walking in with his pants off and his tie tied like a shoe lace

"How about you put some pants in first silly" Anna said sticking her head out of the bathroom door

"I like it like this. I can feel the air" he said smiling like a goofball. I couldn't help, but snicker a little

"Ri go put your pants on then you can come back and get your tie tied" Anna said.

He groaned and walked out "Ok now that he's gone, can you tie my tie please?" I said walking over to her

She scoffed and rolled her eyes before taking my tie in her hands "Thank you" I said after she tied my tie

"Ok I'm back!" He said running back "Should I wear the Dinos or the race cars?"

I looked at them for a second before answering "Race cars definitely" I said

He then came up to me and extended the tie "Uh I just realized I have to go make sure Evey and Ever's diaper bag is packed get mommy to help ok bud?" I said before speed walking out of the room

"Mrs. Y/L/N, it came to my attention that you assaulted my client. Is that true?" The lawyer asked me while I sat at the stand

"I was protecting Riley" I said honestly, looking him straight in the eye

"And you needed to assault Mr. Andrew in order to? Sounds a bit violent and aggressive if you ask me" he said

"Yes I punched Mr. Andrews. I saw Riley was in danger so I protected him. If anything Mr. Andrews was the one being quite aggressive" I said

"How so?" The judge asked

"Well your honor, Mr. Andrews was shouting and being entitled and then he grabbed Riley so hard I thought he was going to break the boys arm" I said

"So that's why you assaulted him?" The lawyer asked

"I did not assault him" I said quite annoyed by now

"That is all your honor" he said walking back

"My I say something your honor?" I asked her she nodded so I took that as a chance to start talking

"This is my side of the story" I said making a everyone pause and listen

"Objection! She cannot take the stand with no one's questioning her" the lawyer said

"Shut up and let me speak" I said. The judge gave me a look "Sorry, sorry. Go ahead" I said

"Overruled" she said

"Ok anyway, about three days ago I want to the Andrews residence to have a day with Riley like we had planned a few weeks before. When I got there, there was no cars or anything outside. I still knocked on the door though. A few seconds later there stood Riley, answering the door. I for one, wouldn't let my kid answer the door without supervision at such a young age. I didn't realize at first, but he had a black eye. When I asked him about it he lied and told me his friend hit him with a baseball. Later to find out, someone, I won't say names, but I think we all know who at this point, had hit him for wanting to paint his nails and have a tea party with his little sister. I sat there and held him while he cried because he was scared" I said before I was cut off

"I never hit him! That boy is a liar!" Fred said jumping out of his seat

The judge banged her gravel "Sit down!"

I scoffed and continued "I was then told his parents where somewhere in Europe and that they often leave the two children at home while they go on vacation. No babysitter, no nanny, no one Leto look after them, just a nine year old looking after a five year old for days or maybe even weeks. Who knows, but that's unexceptional. That's abuse in my eyes" I said before standing up and adjusting my tie "That's all"
