I was finally driving on the way to our new home in Connecticut. Singing songs, holding my wife's hand, and being content with how my life's going
Sage was very good on our trip. He took a nap before we stopped for gas and some snacks
"What do you want my love" I asked through the window
"I wish I could say a Red Bull but, I have your child ruining that for me" Anna said fixing her makeup in the mirror
"Ok sooo...water?" I asked
She turned to look at me and rolled her eyes "yes a water is fine and get Sage some apple juice and animal crackers please" I nodded and walked off into the store
I grabbed the items and payed before walking back out. I handed her her water and some other snacks "Thank you bubs" I closed my door and gave her a kiss "You're very welcome" I opened Sage's animal crackers and his apple juice
"Don't spill in Jamie,Sage....that didn't sound like how I wanted it to" I shook my head and gave him his snacks
"Alright let's get back on the road" I buckled up,put my hand on Anna's thigh, and we continued our journey
- "Finally" I said pulling up into the driveway of our new home

We all got out and entered the house. Thankfully, my parents my parents already. It helps when your moms a interior designer and dads a real estate agent
"I'm so tired" I said walking up the stairs to find our bedroom. When I finally found it I collapsed on our king sized bed with a loud groan
I heard footsteps and I peeked my eye open to see Anna and Sage standing in the door. "Cuddles" Sage said extending his arms with grabby fingers.
I picked him up and put him on my chest as I closed my eyes again. I felt the bed dip and then fingers in my hair "When do you leave tomorrow to report to campus and stuff like that?"
I hummed and moved to be in her arms "Um I think ten and then there's a open gym at twelve so I'll leave around nine thirty and get back before three
I rubbed my hand on her pregnant belly as I felt sleep hitting me like a fucking truck
"Good night Mrs. Y/L/N" she laughed softly "Good night Mrs. Y/L/N" she responded back
- My alarm went off and I quickly turned it off to not disturb the sleep of my family. I got up quietly and took a quick shower before getting dressed
"Anna, baby, I'm leaving." Her eyes fluttered opened instantly looking me in the eyes
Ive been in love with this girl since forever and she still makes my knees weak. "Ok I love you" I gave her chaste kiss before looking over at Sage's sleeping figure and leaning over and kissing his head.
