Chapter 84

Y/N POV

I felt my heart beat trying to beat out of my chest as I made way to the media. I felt like throwing up, but I kept my composure when I felt Coach's hand squeeze my shoulder.

"Y/N over here!" One news reported yelled

"Y/N, I just have a few questions!" Another yelled

"Is it true your a man?" Ok that one was a little funny

I stood in front of all the cameras as a head set was given to me. "F-first question?" I asked softly

Everyone started yelling over each other "One at a damn time!" Coach yelled out Everyone's hand shot up and I pointed to a blonde haired women in the front

"Hi Y/N. Are the rumors true about you having twins with your might i say, beautiful wife, Anna Shumate?" I smiled at her kindness towards my wife's beauty

"Yes, we had beautiful twin girls. And for the record I'm intersex, so no I'm not a man." I said answer two questions in one

I pointed to another reporter "Will we be seeing your kids around more?" A man asked in the back

"Probably not. The twins are still new borns and Sage  is a no for the moment, but maybe later down the season you might" I said answering  the question truthfully

"We have time for two more questions" Geno said to them

He pointed to a tall guy in the back with a neat hair cut and beard. "When will we be seeing pictures of you for Vogue and SI?" He asked

I smirked "I guess you'll have to wait and see. I will say, it is coming soon" I replied

Geno pointed to a women "Can you lead this team to a national championship?" The question kind of caught me off guard. I knew the question would come up soon, but I've never wanted to answer the question

I gulped and looked to my team shooting around behind the reports

"Not by myself. This is not what this team is about. Everyone has their own important role on this team and we fulfill them the way we practice them. I know this is cliché, but there is no 'I' in 'Team'." I said with a smile

"Quite the humble character I see" she smiled at me "Well thank you for your time and we hope to see you again soon" she continued

I thanked them too and took my headset off and continued to the court "You are definitely a pro at interviews already" Geno laughed clapping his hand against my back then ruffling my hair

"Stop doing that! I can't see" I said pulling my hair back out of my face. I probably need to get a haircut. I can fit my hair into a little man bun at this point. Anna thinks it's sexy, but I don't really like it. I only keep it for her. Happy wife happy life *eye roll*

"About time superstar joined" Sophia mumbled as I walked past her to stretch

"Shut up Sophia" Max clapped back

I sighed and continued with my stretching

I was watching Animal Planet with Sage until Geno came in and got everyone's attention "Ok huddle up" He said

I kissed Sage on the head and hugged him one more time before placing him back in my locker area then walked into the huddle

"I already went over the game plan, but I just wanted to say that I want you to go out there and have fun and play hard...but if you don't play hard you'll run at practice tomorrow." He said with a sarcastic smile

"Ok Sophia break and let's get out there" he said walking away

"Hands in y'all" Sophia said

We broke and headed out to the court again

I tucked my jersey in and wiped my feet off before getting into position for tip off.
