Chapter 72

Y/N POV

It's out last day. It's crazy how time flies. I'm scared to leave and start my future officially.

Tonight we are having our going away dinner with our family.

"Babe can you hand me the salt please?" Anna said. I handed her the salt and went back to playing with Sage on the counter

"I can't believe we're leaving tomorrow" she said. I looked over at her and she was kneeling down infront of me

"Really babe? The child is right here" I said pointing to Sage "No you idiot. I need to get a pot out of the cabinet behind you horndog." She slapped my thigh shooing me over

"Right I knew that I was just messing with you" she stood up with a pan and rolled her eyes at me

"Mama help" I looked to Sage as he tried zipping his jacket up but, failing

"Here you go" I said starting the zipper for him so he could zip it the rest of the way up

He then unzipped it and tried again

"Anyway mom said they'd be here in about a hour." I explained to Anna

"Mama help" I looked to Sage again when he held up his zipper. I started the zipper again and he zipped it up then unzipped it

"Mama help" Sage smiled. He knew exactly what he was doing

"This is my last time. Next time, you suffer and figure it out yourself." I helped him again "Thank you" he started to swing his feet against the counter as he watched Anna cook

I turn my head to Anna to watch her as well

"Mama..." Sage whispered and I looked back to him to see his jacket unzipped

"Help?" I rolled my eyes "My names not mama anymore, kid" I took the jacket off of him "There help that" he huffed and looked away from me

"That wasn't very nice Y/N/N" Anna said coming over to us and playing in Sage's hair

"Well him picking on me isnt very nice either but, here we are!" I said "Y/N. He's one. Get over it." She picked him up and kissed him all over his face

I rolled my eyes and huffed "Whatever"

Time skip to after dinner because I'm lazy

My moms crying and my dad is just ready to go home

"Mom. I'm going to come home and visit. It's not like I'm ghosting you. You'll be able to see Sage and the baby when we come visit" I said as she cried more

"Dad? Tell mom it's nothing that serious!" I whined to my father

"No can do kid"

"Mom cmon. Y/N/N's not leaving forever. Now can we go I'm tired" Jhett said hanging off my arm

She sighed and kissed my cheek again

"I love you my sweet baby girl and I'm rooting for you and Anna and my grandchildren. Text me when you leave and make it to Connecticut tomorrow" I gave my family another group hug and they left

The same thing happened with Anna's family then they left

"Ready to start chapter 2 of our lives?" Anna asked as she walked back into the house hand and hand with me

Of course I am, my love" I gave her a sweet kiss, smacking her ass and running up the stairs

I went to our room and checked the baby monitor to make sure Sage was asleep. I did a glance over thinking he was asleep and then took the monitor to the bathroom while I brush my teeth

"Mama" I heard Sage say through the speaker "Mama" he repeated. He got up and started moving around. I left him for a second to see if he would go back to sleep but, it got very quiet I looked to the screen and he wasn't there

I then heard a soft knock "Mama! Open!" I opened the door and look down to see my little rascal smiling up at me "Hi" he said too cute for his own good

"What are you still doing up booger?" I picked him up and took him to the counter so I could finish brushing my teeth

I turned the water back on and brushed my teeth for a little longer

I felt water hit my face and looked down to see Sage his hands dripping water "Oops" he giggled

"You're lucky your cute" I spit and wiped my mouth before splashing him with a little water which scared him and I saw his little lip start quivering.

"Aw man don't start that. Mommy will her you!" I picked him up and wiped the water of his face. He started to cry and I rolled my eyes "little pain in the a-"

"What happened?!" Anna said coming into the bathroom. Sage reached out for her and she took him "Mom-mommy. Mama water" I rolled my eyes again

"It's ok baby. Mama is sorry" she hit me in my chest "say sorry" she whispered and glared at me

"Sorry" I said quickly

"What is he doing out of bed? I put him to bed like an hour ago" we walked out of the bathroom

"Climb" Sage said through his sniffles

"Of course you climbed over" I mumbled taking my pants and shirt off and getting under the covers

"Want to sleep with me and mama tonight?" He nodded and Anna placed him on the bed as she also took her pants off and put one of my shirts on

Sage crawled over to me and cuddled up into me. All I could hear was his soft little hiccups but, it's his fault he's crying. He started it. If he didn't want to be teased back he shouldn't have even started it.

Anna got into bed and Sage snuggled up to her leaving me by myself

"Loser" I heard Sage whispered and they both giggled

I just got finessed by a one year old.

"Go to sleep baby" I heard Anna say to Sage giving him light kisses to his face and playing in his hair

"I don't get that?" I whined

"Go to sleep Y/N" she smacked me in the head and returned her attention to our son

That's selfish. First he cried and took Anna attention and I don't even get a goodnight kiss.

Sorry it's kind of short. School ends in a week and now I'm rushing to finish all my procrastinated work
