Y/N POV

It was the next day and Sage and I were getting ready to head out the door

"I packed him snacks, there's water and milk in there, I think I put apple juice in there I'm not sure, there's some coloring books and diapers and-" I cut her off because she was ranting and I couldn't even keep up with what she was saying at this point

"Anna, honey, baby, I love you but, please for the love of God shut up. You've told me everything a hundred times and it's only ten in the morning" I pulled her into a hug and then kissed her forehead

"Ok I'm just...ugh... I know how you both get when it's just you two" she said playing with my hair

"What's that supposed to mean" I asked

"It means Sage is the more responsible one" she giggled and kissed my nose

"That's not true! Right Sage?" He giggled at me too

"Ok whatever. We gotta get going. Say bye bye to mommy buddy"

"Bye bye" he waved and gave her a kiss "bye baby"

"Alright we'll be home later. I love you"

"I love you too. I hope your crotch feels better" I kissed her and we shared a laugh before Sage and I headed out the door

-

"Oh my god he's adorable!" I heard when we walked into the gym

"There's my little guy!" Coach said coming over to us

Sage let go of my hand and ran to coach. He's met him over FaceTime and Zoom meetings we've had so he's familiar with his face

"That's your son?" Max said coming to my side

"Yeah. His names Sage"

"Mama basketball" Sage pointed to one of the balls my teammate was holding

"Yeah booger"

"Here I'll hold him you go get dressed for practice. My wife should be here in a few" I nodded and left Sage with Coach Geno as I went to the locker room

"Why would you bring your kid to practice? So unprofessional" Sophia said coming over to my locker area and kicking my shoes out of the way

I took a deep breath and turned to her

"Because I'm eighteen. My wife wasn't going to be able to watch him all day, so I brought him with me to take some stress of her. Coach was the one who suggested I bring him in when I need help anyway. So mind your own business" I turned to pick up my shoe and she pushed me

"You are my business. This is my team. No little freshman is going to take that away from me. You have all that daddy's money and you can't afford a babysitter? I bet your wife just wanted the house to her self. Maybe she's cheating on you. Probably just used you for your money."

I clenched my jaw to keep myself calm and not to punch her right in the mouth

I stood up quickly and looked down to her 5'8 figure

"Listen here. My parents bought us that house so we could save our money. I could provide perfectly fine for my family. My wife? yeah she's a photographer. You know that company called Vogue? Yeah she's working with them right now. She's probably making more than I do! " She looked dumbfounded

"Like I said you know nothing. So back the fuck off!" I picked up my practice jersey and shoes and shoved my way past her

"And for the record, I know my wife's crazy about me. Whatever trust issues you have because of your ex doesn't correlate with my wife and I's relationship"
