Mirio x Glasses! Reader

Your POV
I was in the gym after school, unlike most of the 3rd years, I needed a lot of help with my quirk. A lot more then just a simple fire quirk or water quirk. When I was around 6 months old I could already float. As I got older more things started to appear. I could use telepathy and later learned I could make beams of light. I had to get my own teacher along with the ones at my high school since durning my second year another power started to show. Reality manipulation.

One down side to this quirk. My vision. Each time a new power comes to my live my vision get worse. I do have contacts to avoid using glasses. Since my glasses are really thick.

I was in the gym with my teacher as we worked on the new power. It was after school so I wouldn't bug or hurt the others." Try it again!" My teacher said to me and I breathed in and out calming my mind. The reality I was in, gone to a different time. I looked around happy and I saw my teacher also with a proud look. It was a hard power to control and far from when I could use it in battle. Just as I was getting used to it my eyes were in pain. The reality I made went away.

I was back in the gym and I rubbed my eyes. With me only having contacts it made my eyes hurt worse." I can tell your getting better with your quirk but your gonna at some point stop warring your contacts." My teacher said to me. I glared up to him and sighed." I know." I said looking down." Knock! Knock!" I looked over to see one of my good friends mirio. He waved his hand and walked in." Working hard or hardly working!" I laughed a little." Working hard." I said flexing my arm with a closed eyes smile.

He stayed and watched me train with my other powers and would clap when I did something good. A couple minutes after I was told to go back to the dorms. Me and Mirio walked back together. He was talking and being happy like he always would be we parted ways to our rooms once we got to the dorms.

I was tired when I got back to my room. When I took out my contact i went to my bed. And soon after fell asleep.

In the middle of the night I woke to pain behind my eyes. I went for my glasses and I couldn't see threw them. Every thing was burly I couldn't make out faces but I could make out shapes. Lights just looked like Blobs. I crashed into my bed corner making me Yelp in pain, when I opened the door the lights of the hall were out but at the end. I kept close to the wall trying to find Mirio's room.

Soon I saw colors that I recognized. As I knocked on the door I saw blond hair." (Y/n)?" He said confused." Help take me to the nurse please." I said to him." Yeah but what's wrong?" He said to me." I can't see." I said to him. He grabbed my hand and guided me. He kept asking question making sure I was okay. But I told him it was just Becasue of my quirk.

We got to recovery girls office she was doing paper work." Ma,ma?" Mirio said to her she looked over. I felt her hand grabbed mine and she sat me down. She shined a light in my eyes.

Mirio pov
I watched tired as recovery girl checked her eyes. When she knocked I was worried. She never really complained this bad about it. " you need to stop wearing your contacts. There doing more damage to your eyes then good." She said to her." I can't see through my glasses." She said to her." I'll set you up with an appointment with your doctor. Mirio do you mind going with her?" She asked me." Yeah." I said still kind of confused. She sighed and pulled me to the hall." My guessing she never told you." I shook my head." Her vision is deteriorating. Each new power she gets her vision gets worse." I was confused. I've never seen her wear glasses or anything.

Recovery girl told me when her appointment was and I saw (y/n) was kind of worried. We were walking back to the dorms she kind of held my shoulder since her contacts got tooken out by recovery girl." So how long have you warn contact?" I asked her." Ive been wearing them since 6th grade, I never like glasses." She said to me." But why?" I asked her." There really thick and bulky. I look stupid." She said to me. I looked down to her kind of sad.

Soon it was her appointment day and I was with her. " okay your new persecution is -500 in your left eye and -700 for the other eye. I was told to give you glasses and not contacts right?" The doctor said and she nodded." Well. It's gonna be about two weeks I'll give you a pass until you get them."

For the two weeks (y/n) stayed near me and when she got her glasses they were thick black ones. She kept looking at them not wanting to put them on. I carefully took them from her and put them on her face and I will tell you right now. She look so cute. I was speechless. She went to take them off." No you look great!" She looked surprised." Really?" She asked. I nodded with a smile.
