Your POV
I was checking someone out at the cash register when I heard someone say something." Oh my god your the hero Deku right?!" It was a girl. Oh great. I rolled my eyes. We get heros a lot in the store and it's pretty normal to hear that saying. I work at a thrift store, and why would heros come in here. We sometime have costume parts that others didn't want anymore. I was sweeping behind the counter when a guy with green messy hair came up to me. He had a muscular build to him. "can I help you?" I asked with a smile." Um yes I hear this store sometimes has hero costume material." He said with a cute smile that could melt anyone's heart." Right this way." I said to him walking to the area in the store. He followed me to the area which was pretty big." Well look around if you need to try something on I can open a fitting room for you." I said with a smile to him. Wanting to get away from the hero costumes honestly." Thank you!" He said back. " hay (y/n) are you clueless or something?" One of my coworker said. I shrugged my shoulders. Then she whispers to me." That's the hero Deku. Everyone says he's gonna be the new simbol of peace." She said to me." Sorry. I don't really follow heros." I said to her." Come on (y/n) just Because you couldn't be a hero doesn't mean you should hate on them." My supervisor said to me with a laugh." I'm not hating on them. I just don't to hear about them. I just want to have a normal conversation without someone bring up a hero." I said to them. My coworker turned to the supervisor " sound like hating to me." She laughed. I sighed and went to organize some clothing.

I did want to be a hero. When I was young. But then at the age of five I found out I was quirkless and gave up on my dream. I was being realistic. " excuse me." I jump at the sudden noise." Eh sorry, I was just wanting to try this on." It was the green haired person again." Sure." I said with a smile. I went to pull my key out of my pocket to unlock the dressing room but it fell and it went into a crack on the floor." Son of a." I mumbled to myself. I called over my coworker. Her quirk was to levitate things." Thanks." I said to her. I turned to him and said sorry and I walked to let him in the room.

"I couldn't help but hear them joking you for hating on hero." He laugh. My eye twitched a little." Here you go." I said opening the door and avoiding the conversation." Thank you?" He questioned going in." Hay I'm going on a 15." I yelled. My supervisor nodded and i stepped outside.

Izuku POV
I walked out and up to the register." Hay where's the girl with the (h/c)." I asked wanting to talk with her a little more." She's on brake right now." The girl smiled." Then do you know why she doesn't like heros?" I asked her. She starting ringing my stuff up." Well she doesn't like hero or like hero. She just Eh with them you know. Like she is fine with them just she won't know all the new hot names." She said with a laugh. I thought for a moment. And she told me my total. I told her thank you and i left the store." Yeah dad I'm okay." I hear her voice say." I'm on brake right now." Soon I found her talking on the phone." Okay I'll call later." She said hanging up the phone." Hay." I said with a smile again." Hi." It wasn't the same happy hello when she is in the store." My name is izuku midoriya. What's your name." I asked her." It (y/n)(L/n)." She said to me." My question from in the store was never answered (Y/n)." I said to her with a smile." Does it matter." I was shocked." Well I guess not." I laughed nervously. I hear her sigh." Um and i ask what your quirk is?" I asked her. She looked quickly up at me with a mean look." Does that matter." She glared. I laughed." I have a friend just like you!" She looked at me confused now." What do you mean." She asked." Does it matter." I asked her now. " that's not how it's supposed to work!" She said confused and not knowing what to say next. I laughed again." So new to the world of adult hood." Seeing that she was about my age." Yeah, just graduated school this year." She said to me." Hay same!" I said with a smile. I noticed she didn't smile. Once. Yes in the store she would smile. But now I know it's fake. Just then I heard a timer go off." Well I have to go back." She said to me." It was nice talking to you midoriya." She said before walking into the store.

For the next couple months I did go in her store a lot. And I buy something each time even if it the most ridiculous thing. I was checking out with her again. She laughed." Your in here a lot now huh." She said to me." Yeah." I said to her with a shy smile." Well see you next time midoriya." She said with a wave and a smile." Yup!" I said nervously. And I walked out.

Your POV
" no way." My coworker said." Hum?" I looked over." The hero Deku totally likes you!" She said with a smile." I wouldn't say that." I said to her." He comes in here a lot. And he only asks you questions and checks out with you." She said like she was fangirling. I shrugged my shoulders again." Anyway I'm off. It's 3." I said going to clock out.

I had my bag in my hand as I was walking home. I wasn't really in a busy street " Missy." I looked over to see a guy. Just then he attacked me. I tried my best to fight him off to no use. His hand was over my mouth so I couldn't scream. I bit down on his hand but he didn't let go. I bit down harder to the point I know he was bleeding." Leave the girl alone." The villain stopped and pushed me away from him really hard. I saw where his hand was on my face was bleeding a lot." I wasn't doing anything hero." He lied. Wait is that midoriya? Midoriya held him by the back of his shirt but that's when he used his quirk to attack him. It was like a slug type quirk I guess. Honestly I was to scared to move. Which was a stupid mistake. Just then he turned to me and went around me." Let me use your quirk for a while woman." He said to me. I felt like I was drowning. Then he noticed. I was thown out of him." Well your useless quirkless!" He said to me. I was coughing up what ever he did to me. I looked up to see midoriya now fighting the villain. And soon it was over. He called the police and they made sure I was okay."good thing you are quirkless! That villain move is to take over body's and the persons quirk." The medic said with a smile." Yeah." I said not looking up." Can I go now." I asked." Yeah." She said to me. I got up and started walking away.

As I got far enough a few tears left my eyes." I was completely useless." I mumbled to my self." Hay! (Y/n) wait up!" I turned to see midoriya." What." I said." You did really good back there!" He said to me." Midoriya don't lie to me I did nothing back there but get in the way." I said to him." That's not true." He said with a sad look." Hay um can I tell you something. But do you promise not to tell anyone else." He said to me. I nodded to him." I was also born quirkless." What he said surprised me." But how do you have a quirk now?" I asked him. He told me the story and at first I thought it was bullshit. But something in me wanted to believe him." I won't tell anyone." I said to him. He smiled to me." Was there anything else you want to say?" I asked him." Yes actually, I was wondering if you wanted to maybe go out sometime." He said with a shy smile. A smile also went on my face. "Sure I would like that." I said to him. He looked surprised that I said yes them happy." Okay cool I'll see you tomorrow!" He said to me and I nodded knowing he was gonna come in my store again also.
