I'm in the Hydraloop, which just had just transported us from the mainland to the Bionic Island, where Davenport was waiting with a big smile and open arms. "Welcome to the Davenport Bionic Academy!" he greeted us enthusiastically as we stepped out of the sleek transport.

"Man, I just got crazy flashbacks." I said to Leo, recalling when Davenport and Tasha welcomed us into our new house. Leo nodded in agreement, sharing the same nostalgia. It was a home I'd surely miss. "Whoa, this place is awesome!" Bree and Adam exclaimed as they started exploring, wide-eyed.

"Look! A window!" Bree added excitedly. Chase, who was the last to step out, looked stunned. "The Hydraloop is incredible! We just traveled from the mainland to the middle of the ocean in under 30 seconds!"

"Yeah." Leo groaned, clutching his stomach. "And my lunch just went from my stomach to the floor in less than three." We all gave him disgusted looks, but before anyone could say anything more, Davenport clapped his hands, stepping into the center of the room. Adam and Bree rejoined us, snapping out of their exploration.

"So..." Davenport said with a grin. "What do you think?"

"Beautiful view, tons of space." I said with a smile, already liking our new home. "I'm assuming we'll be living in the basement again?" Bree asked, raising her eyebrows skeptically, voicing what we were all thinking. Davenport chuckled and shook his head. "Nooo." he replied, using that tone he always used when he was stretching the truth. "Here, we call it below sea level." I rolled my eyes at his wordplay.

"By the way..." Davenport continued, his hands moving animatedly as he spoke. "The Hydraloop can take you anywhere you want to go on the island, anytime you need." He explained to us, his eyes bouncing between each person. "This is one of the main classroom areas and here—" We followed him, the door sliding open automatically at his presence. "—is one of the main classroom areas. And here—" He gestured grandly as we stepped into the next space. "—is the training area, where we'll develop the kids' skills and train them to become bionic heroes."

"If you couldn't teach Chase how to be a hero, what chance do they have?" Adam snickered, slinging an arm around Chase's shoulders. Chase frowned but didn't respond as Davenport shot Adam a sharp look. "Guys, this is serious." Davenport said firmly. "You have important roles as mentors."

"Don't worry, Big D, we've got this." Leo said confidently, stepping forward. Bree followed, standing just behind him with an intrigued expression. "Now." Leo added with a grin. "What exactly will I be teaching?"

"Nothing. You're a student." Davenport replied bluntly. I silently mouthed, ouch. It was always Leo's dream to be a mentor—well, for the past two seconds anyway. "A what?!" Leo exclaimed, gesturing wildly at the four of us. "But you gave me a mission suit! You said I was part of the team!"

"Mm, yeah, he says a lot of things." Bree scoffed, patting him on the shoulder. "By the way, still waiting on that sweet sixteen party."

I couldn't help but smile innocently at Davenport as Bree, Chase, and I left Leo behind to explore the rest of the island.
