IT WAS EXACTLY AT 10PM when Rebecca had found herself walking right outside the Head Girl's dormitory. She had taken her sweet time in getting to the place of meeting – making sure to remain as nonchalant and undetected as possible within the castle halls. She dodged pairs of prefects, hiding out in alcoves as they passed with their lit wands. She had even made sure to notify the group of her rendezvous; telling Hermione and immediately being assured that should something happen, a coverup would be thought of. It wasn't that Rebecca didn't trust Adrienne – how could she not, they've been friends for literal years – but, perhaps, that was also the very same reason she was still hesitant in coming across the portrait of Rowena Ravenclaw.

Even when her title of Head Girl had been revoked by Umbridge, the dormitory was still titled to her for the remainder of the term; especially seeing as no staff member had decided to replace her. More so, since it already had been occupied – and thankfully, Dumbledore saw to it that no one would disturb Cedric Diggory as he resided in the dorm. Rebecca had given the space to him since the beginning of term so he could steer clear of anyone he wished, an isolated dorm all for himself; to ride out any and all questions, looks, or interrogations that were thrown his way after everything he's gone through.

The halls were empty and suddenly too quiet, even just a few minutes passed curfew. Rebecca made her way up to her House founder's portrait, lingering slightly in front of the frame that was almost identical to the one at it's left side – only that painting was of Salazar Slytherin for Cassius Warrington, as he was still the Head Boy. She greeted the thin, gaunt and dark haired woman quietly, flashing her a smile and announcing the same password Cedric had told her in passing some time ago – snuffalapod. Rowena gave a curt nod, swinging her portrait open and revealing the entranceway into the single dormitory. Once inside, the portrait shut right behind her and Rebecca took a small glance around the small den-like area.

"Did anybody see you come in?" Adrienne asked as soon as she spotted her, stopping her nervous pacing by the window that shimmered in the moonlight, taking a few steps forward.

"No," The Ravenclaw answered simply, her eyes trailing the length of the room and her feet still stationary from where she originally stepped inside – hesitating a moment before she was asking, "where's Cedric?"

"He'll be down soon," The blonde informed her softly, "we got back from the kitchens not too long ago, I help him stock up for when he hides out in here," She uttered, letting out a pursed sigh as her face fell and she quietly admitted, "he likes the quiet these days."

"Yeah," Rebecca murmured midst a reluctant nod, a slight bitterness to her tone as she too pursed her lips, "I can't say I've ever really been one for the quiet if I'm honest."

"I'm sorry," Adrienne began, her eyebrows furrowing slightly as she took another step forward, "but you know as well as I do that there's certain precautions that needed to be taken – both for your safety as well as Cedric's, Hell, even mine," She tried to look more apologetic, but she was also within reason, "We couldn't just run up and beginning chatting like nothing ever happened, especially after so much time apart."
