IT WAS AUGUST 30TH, AND Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes had finally opened their doors for their grand opening, just in time for all the last minute trips to Diagon Alley for Hogwarts' students preparing for their new school term. Unfortunately, even while all of the younger teens had shown up in support for the twins, all lingering downstairs and chatting up storms – Rebecca had to stay watching from afar, tucked away upstairs in the quiet flat, by a charmed one-way window, seeing the line of children out the door and joyful chattering and laughter she couldn't join in on. She had wished to be there, supporting the twins and greeting the Golden Trio, and Ginny and just anybody who'd walk in – but instead, she found herself sat alone, criss-cross on a window-sill.

The morning had been nice, so serene and happy that it almost made the four occupants of the flat forget that they were in the midst of the brewings of an inevitable war. Rebecca had woken up to a face nuzzled into the crook of her neck, reminiscent of so many days in the past. And while it only had been a few days, Fred was finally beginning to revert back to his old, touchy-feely self once more. He was still extremely weary of his actions and his hand placements – way more than he should've been – and had a predisposed stance of a protector, but his smile had returned and he had apologized to George – who only shrugged and dismissed him with a smile – and he was getting better.

Once finished hanging up a few photos frames, having gotten bored of doing nothing more than people-watching, Rebecca was letting herself collapse backwards onto the once-made bed spread. She eyed the photos' placement, her eyes squinting slightly as she clocked her head to the side and mentally took account of the angles.

"Love?" Fred's voice piped up from the opened doorway, his shoulder leaning against the doorframe as he tilted his head to the side; watching his girlfriend push herself up onto her elbows before she was looking his way, "what are you doing?"

"Do those look straight to you?" Rebecca questioned instead, gesturing a hand towards the four frames, "I know they're perfectly spaced, but – that one –" She pointed to the middle photo of both her and Fred during last Christmas, "I swear it's crooked."

"They look alright to me," He shrugged, shuffling further into the room with a kick back to send the door swinging closed, "is this what you've been doing since the morning?"

"Well, yes," She pursed her lips, sighing slightly before turning away from the photos and letting herself fell back into the mattress, "I've already cleaned most the flat – as well as put some bits and bobs around to decorate."

"What are you doing up here?" She questioned after another moment, her eyebrows furrowed as he finally reached the end of the bed and tossed his suit jacket onto the desk chair, "there's got to be a hoard of children down there."
