IT WAS JUST THREE WEEKS after Ron's poisoning, and the capture and arrest of Mundungus Fletcher, with the notification that members of The Order were beginning to take rotating shifts securing Hogwarts' castle late after hours – and even a coded letter from a weary Harry himself to Rebecca on a few lessons he had been receiving from Dumbledore – the four occupants of the flat above the joke shop were thrown in for a rather wild loop. They had woken up like any other morning, the twins readying themselves to open the shop for another day and their girls happily taking their time to lounge for a bit before the day truly started for them.

Though, what wasn't accounted for was the fact that – while it was to be expected at any moment since the week the baby had become overdue – Scarlett's water had broken the very moment she had stepped towards her and George's room with an audible and surprised gasp. Almost immediately, the father-to-be froze in his spot by the front door, intent on his way down to the shop first when he had heard his girlfriend's straggled gasp. In turn, Fred too, had frozen in place by the kitchen sink, empty plate still in his grasp, and his jaw went slack as his eyes widened significantly. Neither twin dared to say a word, stunned and silent and staring at once another.

"Well, don't just stand there like a bloody tree," Scarlett blurted out to George, her eyebrows furrowing in both annoyance and discomfort as she tugged out her wand and shakily cleaned herself up with a mere wave, "we've obviously got things to do."

George still didn't say a word in return, both he and Fred looking extremely nervous. One by the front door and one still in the kitchen, the latter beginning to stammer over his incoherent words and wiping his suddenly sweaty palms on his shirt.

Having ran out from her room at the loud gasp, and after glancing between both gingers, Rebecca let out an exasperated breath, shaking her head, "I'll send word to Molly, then I'll snap those two back into reality – you needn't have to do a thing," she assured the former Hufflepuff, gently grasping her shoulders to lead her towards the couch, "just take a seat, rest up a bit, and we'll leave shortly."

"I'm so glad you're here." Scarlett immediately went glassy eyed, catching Rebecca's hand before she could fully step away, clutching onto it happily as the mood-swing turned in her favor.

The dark-haired girl only flashed another smile, giving a reassuring pat to the back of the pregnant witch's hand before moving towards the perch where the shop owl snoozed. With a gentle ruffle to the top of its head with her knuckle, its beady eyes instantly snapped open. Rebecca motioned for a moment silently, as if the owl would understand, and took the conveniently placed notepad and pen from the little table – scribbling out a quick note for the Weasley matriarch. She folded it up quickly, offering it to the grey owl alongside a treat before releasing the bird out the window.
