FLORESCENT LIGHTS FROM stray curses and spells still flew overhead – screams and hoarse calls of fear and panic echoed across the grounds in front of The Burrow. Members of the Order of the Phoenix had fought valiantly against the group of Death Eaters, not second-guessing or doubting the use of an Unforgivable. They didn't want to – and there was once a time where the mere thought of using one would make any one of them shudder – but it was different now. That time had long since passed. The two sides; the good and the bad; the black and the white sides; they were now forced to pick a side, choose a way and hope it was the right choice. The grey area was still there, but it was overlooked. Nobody wanted to be dubbed a coward.
"Release me!" The silver-haired witch screamed aloud, wildly thrashing and kicking in a hope that she'd manage to free herself or catch the attention of The Order, "you've got the wrong person!"
"Do you think us daft, cousin?" The distorted voice snarled lowly, grasping a fistful of her hair to yank it back and tower over her threateningly, "did you think that because you cast charm after charm over yourself that you wouldn't be recognized?"
"Let me go!" Rebecca yelled, managing to get a cheap kick into the Death Eater's side before her leg was caught and then her body was being suspended between the two hooded figures, "you'll regret this!"
"You're in no position to be making threats," The cloaked woman cackled, "if you hadn't noticed, we have you – and we're taking you back with us," They neared her face, sage green eyes blinking through the small slits while the rest of their covered face sinisterly twisted to the side, "the Dark Lord will be so pleased to see you."
The captive girl spat at the face hidden beneath the mask, sneering, "I'd rather die!"
Then there was a sharply-pointed wand to her neck, a low warning, "That could be arranged."
The wand was blown out from the woman's grasp, making the cloaked figure whip around to find herself at the end of Kingsley Shacklebolt's wand instead. Almost immediately, Rebecca's body was released and she was all but thrown onto the ground as the two began to duel. The other Death Eater had jumped in to assist, now two against one as Rebecca scrambled in the grass looking for her own wand. Kingsley had managed to strike the shorter Death Eater with a white light that seemed to mimic lightning. Illuminated at the chest, the figure was rapidly fading into black dust before they were leaving in a cloud of smoke – but Kingsley was hot on their trail in a flash of light.
The remaining cloaked figure had immediately began to fight off the spells Rebecca began throwing out, trying to hold off the sudden attack. They fought against each other, clashing wands and spells ricocheting against one another. To her surprise, the Death Eater wasn't fighting as well as she originally had thought. They weren't fighting to kill, just fighting to survive. It was when Rebecca had shot a strong Stinging Hex into their side that their wand was thrown out of hand and they were caught frozen with her wand right to the face.
