and loves when I bleed,
it locks all the doors and then hides all the keys,
wish someone had told me what I couldn't see,
a glimmer of hope that was staring at me ❞

NIGHT WAS FALLING QUICKLY upon the members of The Order, the day's light fading and swirling away in an array of colours and bringing forth hues of darkened blues and purples. It had only been a handful of hours, but the time seemed to have crept by without notice, filling the house with shadows of the falling sun. The Lupin household held an eerie silence with the oncoming evening, despite being occupied – a rather strange occurrence. Still, after a few murmured goodbyes, all but Lyall had left the cottage and made their way for The Burrow. Not but a moment after disapparation, they appeared just yards from the topsy-turvy house's front porch. Much to Sirius' displeasure, the four made their way up to the front door.
"I still don't understand why you couldn't have just stay with Lyall," Sirius uttered lowly, a slight scowl curling down the corners of his lips; halting Fred's fist midway in the air before he knocked on the door.
"This is the meeting point," Rebecca murmured back in return, "all of you will be back here within the hour and I want to be here when you do – and I want to see Harry again, it's been too long since I've seen him," She glanced between the three men, frowning slightly, "hurry up and knock on the door."
Fred's clenched fist stayed lofted for another moment, hesitating before it fell right back down to his side, "I dunno," He began wearily, "I kinda agree with –"
"Justknock," She protested quietly, letting out a faint sigh, "the quicker we get inside, the quicker you all leave and then the quicker you all return; safe and sound and back with me."
"For Godric's sake..." Remus uttered beneath his breath, smothering an amused smirk before reaching past all of them to knock the pre-determined pattern upon the door himself, "I want you all on your best behavior."
"No promises." Sirius huffed quietly, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Sirius Black –"
"That's not my name anymore," The dark-haired man retorted with a grin, playfully taunting his taller counterpart, "so ha."
"Honestly –"
The front door abruptly flew open not but a minute later, revealing the smiling face of a violet-haired, Nymphadora Tonks, "Oh goody!" She chirped out brightly, "you're all finally here, we've been waiting not-so-patiently – scoot in, pronto –"
Sure enough, most members of The Order were already standing or lounging around within The Burrow's den. The four were greeted in various murmurs and faint smiles, tensions already beginning to run high in the midst of the dwindling time before they were due to leave. All of the Weasleys – save for Percy and Charlie – Hermione, Fleur, Mad-Eye, Kingsley, Hagrid, and Mundungus Fletcher all stood around The Burrow's living room. Moody was the first to move, hobbling over and immediately sending a disapproving glance in their direction for their untimely ways. And it seemed that even Scarlett had accompanied them, standing right next to Mrs.Weasley in the far corner with Roxanne held tightly in her arms.
