IT HAD BEEN ALMOST MIDNIGHT when the trio of teens had gotten back to 12 Grimmauld Place. They had left Diagon Alley and The Leaky Cauldron almost stumbling in their steps, rising from their warm seats and sharing a few tipsy chuckles amongst themselves before they were apparating back. They all had stepped into the apartment, trying their very best to keep quiet and keep their steps soft – only to come face-to-face with two very disappointed and stern-faced parents in their sleep robes. With slight grimaces, knowing the time was well past curfew, and they probably smelled faintly of Firewhiskey, they immediately stopped in their tracks by the front door.

Molly Weasley stood a bit off to the side of the entrance-way, having been nearing the staircase, intent on going to wait for them within the kitchen before she spotted them making the quiet entrance. Sirius Black, on the other hand, had looked as if he had been stood there waiting in the same spot for ages – his arms folded tightly over his chest and foot tapping against then bare-thread carpet as his lips were curled down into a look of disappointment.

"And just where have you been?" Molly immediately shrieked out – ever thankful for the fact that Walburga Black's portrait had finally been removed so she could parent her children as loudly as she wanted to, "do you lot not realize the hour you've gotten back in? Have you not remembered the times we're in?"

"No note! No word from any of you! Rooms and beds empty!" She shouted, tossing her hands up into the air in exasperation, "No one knew where any of you were!"

"We just lost track of time while we were out," George uttered, tugging off his coat, "we didn't mean to get back so late."

"We're sorry, Mum," Fred murmured, eyebrows furrowing slightly, a hand running through his already disheveled hair, "But it's not like it's anything bad –"

"Nothing bad?" Sirius interjected suddenly, his face pulled taunt, "do you not realize what could've happened at this time at night? While you all were out and being reckless?" His face was slowly growing red, eyes flickering before they zeroed in on Fred's face angrily, "Has it seemed to slip your mind that my daughter could've been hurt – she's been targeted by Voldemort himself and yet you're careless about her safety!"

"I'm sorry, Molly, but I have to say it!" He gave a brief glance to the matriarch, "He's reckless! He's being stupid and not thinking! Any one of them could've been hurt –!"

"Sirius, stop it!" Rebecca exclaimed in annoyance, her eyebrows deeply furrowed.

"She could've been taken and you still gambled with her safety! For what? A measly day out –"
