TIME SEEMED TO PASS BY quickly after a while. Long before naught, the month of September had faded away and October was close to nearly being done as well. And while everybody else seemed to be completely alright with the quick passing days – Rebecca was slowly beginning to grow irritated of it all. She was still stuck within the confines of the Lupin cottage, the flat above the shop, and the Burrow – and that should've been okay. The three different households should've been alright. Except, they weren't. The Lupin house, while home to three men she loved dearly, was now almost nearly empty time she visited. Lyall had taken himself out of retirement to stand at Sirius' side for his re-trials while Remus kept up with surveillance and Order missions.
Additionally, both Andromeda and Ted Tonks didn't let up in their letters and pushes to visit the Lupin house. They still refused to believe the 'truth' that Dumbledore had spilled to them through Sirius – and just seeing the letters she couldn't reply begin to stack up, hurt more than she could physically process. Rebecca would then be ushered off to The Burrow, usually alongside Scarlett. But, seeing as the rest of the teens were at Hogwarts, and Bill, Fleur, and Arthur at work most mornings and afternoons – it'd only be the three of them within the house. Mrs.Weasley, after her initial interrogation, took to coddling Scarlett as much as she could.
Though, not only did the Weasley matriarch begin to come around to the very idea of having a grandchild so soon and midst a brewing war – doing everything and anything she could to please the expecting witch – she now seemed to have it in her head that since her sons were twins, they should, "in the very least" have children around the same time too. It was a sore topic that was always brought up the second the conversation had shifted over to babies, and seeing as it's the only thing Molly Weasley could speak of – The Burrow had become a hive of endless pestering and unapologetic prodding into personal information.
"Now," Mrs.Weasley began as she neared the two girls by the front door, "be sure to drink a nice full, warm glass each evening," She handed over a small tupperware full of a mixture of tea leaves and herbs, smiling cheerily at Scarlett, "it'll help with the nausea – and hopefully help you sleep through the nights."
"And you're sure it'll work?" The brunette smiled timidly, taking the outstretched tub and briefly peering into the contents.
"Well, of course, dear," Molly waved off the younger witch dismissively, giving a slight eye roll, "I have had seven children myself, might I remind you," She hummed, setting her hands atop her hips, "I had this as many times as I could get my hands on all the ingredients."
"I'll drink some tonight then," Scarlett gave a slight hum of her own with a grateful smile, passing off the tupperware towards the silent Ravenclaw at her side before she was tugging on her coat, "thank you, Mrs.Weasley – for everything."
