The Brave One

"Hello?"

Ant's heart skips a beat at that and he turns around with his heart inside his throat praying it isn't who he thinks it is. But all hope vanishes into thin air as he saw the strictly-suited, square-jawed, and thin-lipped man, with a combed hair and oxford shoes.

David: "Oh boy, I had forgotten how hot he looked"

Ant's fearful eyes fall on Simon and before anyone could utter a word, Dec walks into the room only to stand shock-stilled seeing the man in the doorway and shout out:

"What the hell is he doing here?!!!!"

Ant looks at him helpless while everyone else grimaced knowing what's about to happen. 

Dec: "Really, Anth? Him?"

Seth: "Err...Hi, Declan..."

Dec: "You! Out! Now!!!" He then turns to his husband  "Really, Anth?

Ant: "I didn't know"

Dec: "You didn't know?!"

Simon: "Dec!  I called him, he is in my legal team. I didn't know that you and he had a..."

Dec: "Oh really? And you do now?!"

Seth: "Declan, I can help you"

Dec: "Oh, I am familiar with how you help people...but no thank you" he gestures to the door

Simon: "Dec, you should hear him out, he volunteered himself for this case..."

Dec: "And why am I not surprised?!"

Seth: "You got it all wrong, Declan. I really can help you"

Dec: "The hell you can!"

Seth: "I can,  as I have all the intel about Parslov's last case, trust me!"

Johnny: "You have what?"

Ant closes his eyes at that and sighs heavily "His dad... was the one to put Parslov in the prison years ago"

Seth: "Our office has all the details...I really can help you"

Dec: " Sounds like your dad will be able to help better..." He seethes

Seth: "Well, if you can contact him on heaven... or hell... or wherever, I don't really know..." He scoffs

Simon: "Dec, we need to talk"

Dec: "What? No! The last thing we need is him to this mess, Simon. You don't know what he bloody well can do-"

Suddenly Ant stops him and gestures towards the little boy who has appeared in the room, albeit worried about the raised voices.

Ant: "Look at you, all dressed up and smart... " he walks to Tony "come on, let's see what grandmas have got for you before we leave"

Ant picks up the boy and leaves the room but not before leaning in, to place a loving kiss on Dec's forehead "Take it easy, baby"

Dec smiles as Ant walked out which soon leaves his face as he sees Seth staring at his husband with visible heart-eyes.

Dec: "What the fuck are you looking at?"

Seth rolls his eyes at Dec's apparent hostility while Simon decides to take matters into his own hands and drags an unwilling Dec into another room.

Dec: "Si, leave me! You have no idea what he did-"

Simon: "I do. Others told me how he had his eyes on Ant, and-"

Dec: "Eyes?! He made a pass at him! I literally caught him trying to kiss my boyfriend whilst he was drunk! If I wasn't in that party, Simon, he would have taken advantage of that!"
