Tony: "What do you want, Deccey?

Dec looks at him tearfully and says slowly:

"You can't help me"

Tony: "I will try...I can get your phone for you. I will try"

Dec: "I don't want that...I don't want any of that..."

Tony: "Then?

Dec: "I want to die"

Tony looks at him stunned at that, his heart stammering twice its pace.

Tony: "You- you don't want to...die... Deccey"

Fear was evident in his voice but Dec was too far away to realise it

Dec: "I want to. I want this to end... I want this torture to end..." He whimpers

Tony: "What about Anth...what about me?! You promised Anth that you will be okay. You promised me that you will help me"

Dec: "I can't help myself. How am I going to help you?"

Tony: "You can...you are strong. You told Anth you are fine!! Who will help me if you die?!" his voice was panicky and he felt a tiny bit of relief as Dec's eyes turned sad instead of stoic.

New tears erupt inside Dec's eyes and he blinks them away.

Dec:  "Anth will help you...when he finds you, he will get you out and-"

Tony: "And Anth? What will happen to him?"

Dec's heart breaks inside his chest but the ghostly voice of his husband echoed through his mind, one phrase repeating again and again in his head     You ruined me

Dec: "Better off without me"

Tony's eyes widen at that: "That's not true...you told me yesterday, how you told him you don't want to live and how worried he was! You told me he was crying"

Dec bottom lip wobbles at that and Tony realises that he is getting through him.

Tony: "He loves you Deccey. What if he comes to get you out of here and see you dead? You promised him!"

Dec: "I-I did Tony...but- but this is too much!"

Tony: "But- but you are strong"

Dec shakes his head "No..not for this"

Tony: "Did he do something...Nick? Did he hurt you? I heard you shouting him to stop but- he wasn't here...what did he do?"

Dec bites his lower lip and shakes his head "I don't know. But I can't go through that again Tony...I can't do that again!"

He hides his face in his hands and Tony shakes his shoulder.

Tony: "Deccey...you can't let Nick win. He was laughing when you shouted his name. He is a bully, he shouldn't win!"

Dec: "I don't want to win, Tony"

Tony: "Why not? Everybody wants to win! Anth wants to win"

Soft whimpers erupt out of Dec and suddenly Tony lunges at him and hugs him tight. Dec wraps his hands around him and holds the little boy closer to him.

Tony: "He wants you to stay strong. I want you to stay strong. I know I am small and you just met me. But I want you to be strong Deccey....you my only friend! We both will be sad if we lose you Deccey"

Dec tightens the hold around the smaller body and after a few seconds, they pull away.

Dec smiles sadly at him "Sometimes you sound so matured"
