When the World Tumbles Down

Coz I am writing more than 5k words for almost all chapters, I have given up apologising for long chapters😂 Thank you so much for sticking with me and I know I am taking time to reply to your comments. I want you to know that I am reading them and I am so thankful for all your support❤❤

The next morning Dec woke up feeling the gentle pressure of soft and painfully familiar lips on his forehead. He hums and flutters his eyes open to see Ant before him, wearing his crispy white shirt, black trousers and black striped tie, holding his black blazer and backpack.

Dec sits up rubbing his eyes and squints at Ant's silver platted watch to see that it was 7 in the morning.

Ant: "Sorry I woke you up" he says apologetically and Dec's heart tugs inside his chest.

Dec: "You have to leave?" He asks cautiously, torn between his rage, guilt and immense love for the taller man.

Ant: "I'll be back in time for lunch"

Dec nods at that, his soulful green eyes holding the sincere blue orbs before him. They both wanted to say a lot of things but didn't know how to word any of them.

Suddenly a whine is heard from beside Dec as Tony opens his eyes to see Ant dressed and ready to leave. The little boy sits up and yawns heavily, his eyes not leaving Ant.

Ant: "Good morning kidda"

Tony: "You have to go today?" He asks sweetly, causing a smile to form on Ant's lips.

Ant: "Yes, I do, but I'll be back soon?"

Tony pouts and suddenly his expression changes, as if reminded of something all of a sudden.

Tony: "When you come back...err...umm will you take us...to...a place?"

Ant turns to Dec curious, who shrugs

Dec: "Where do you want to go?" He asks Tony

Tony bites his lips shyly, his innocent blue orbs assessing Ant's reactions.

Ant: "I'll see whether I can, kidda. Where is it?"

Tony suddenly feels nervous and then he asks in a small voice: "When you come back... can you- would you- take us to - Disney?"

Ant's eyes widen at that so does Dec's

Dec: "Disney?!"

Ant: "Florida?!"

Tony: "Is it too far?" He asks nervous and then shakes his head "It's okay if we can't. I heard uncle David saying how big it is and said I can see Mickey and Goofy. I only saw them from Lilly's house you know, because dad and Nick won't let me near the telly, right... only if it's not too much..."

Ant smiles at that but before he can agree Dec butts in: "Anth is busy kidda, he has work to do right? Maybe we can ask someone else?"

Ant's heart breaks a little at that and then melts as he sees Tony's face falling.

Tony: "But- but- I want Anth to take me..."

Dec: "There are so many people here, Tony. We can ask David, or Stevie or-"

Tony: "Uncle Andrew?!"

Dec's heart skips a beat and so does Ant's. Ant snaps his eyes at Dec who was looking at Tony torn.

Ant's felt his whole world stop turning and says with a fake smile, wanting nothing more than to make them both happy.

Ant: "He will be delighted to take you. Do you want me to ask him?"
