Last time on the Radish Reunion Comp, the final four contestants had to solve a murder mystery for the challenge. Andrew and Collin were the only two to correctly solve it, so they both got a chance to eliminate someone. But the wheel landed on Andrew, and he chose to eliminate Glitch. We are down to the final three. Who will move on to the finale? Find out right now, on The Radish Reunion Comp!

Remaining Competitors (3): Andrew, Collin, Luna
~~~
It was time for the final three challenge. In every other Radish comp, we did a Wattpad scavenger hunt in the final three. So the contestants were possibly expecting that again.
But, we did the internet scavenger hunt as the second challenge of the comp, so we decided to mix things up this season.
For the final three challenge, each of the remaining competitors had to come up with their own short challenge. Then, they would participate in all three challenges.
It's the Final Three Triathlon.
The challenge they created had to last 24 hours and be able to have a clear first place, second place, and third place. First place of each challenge would earn three points, second place would earn two points, and third place would earn one point. The competitor with the least amount of points after all three challenges would be eliminated. We would do one challenge a day.
All three competitors came up with their challenges after a bit of brainstorming. Andrew and Luna finished creating their challenges with a good amount of time left, but Collin finished creating his challenge two minutes before the deadline.
The first challenge they had to complete was Andrew's. It was to create a new sport. Their sport could be anything as long as it wasn't an already established sport. They needed to come up with a name, a main objective, a set of rules, a points system, and a competitive aspect. The sports would be graded by the hosts based on fun, creativity, and functionality. The final three had 24 hours to complete this challenge.
Nobody submitted for the first several hours, as they were all thinking of their sport (or were busy). Andrew submitted his first, 12 hours before the deadline. Luna was next, 9 hours before the deadline. Collin was last, 15 minutes before the deadline.
Between Andrew and Luna's submissions, Thomas and I had a brain fart and accidentally started discussing Andrew's scores in the public chat where the competitors could see. Thomas gave his scores for Andrew's sport, which were lower than Andrew expected, and I said "I didn't read it all yet but it just looks like ultimate frisbee."
Andrew replied to us in a different public chat, saying he made sure that it wasn't like ultimate frisbee. This confused me, because I didn't realize they could see what we were saying, lmao. Thomas realized it and deleted all of our messages, but some of the competitors and spectators had already seen it.
Oops.
I blame Thomas, who sent the first message about scores in the public chat. Although I didn't help because I just replied to him there, not realizing we weren't in our private cohost chat. It was pretty funny all around. Anyway.
Here are their submissions:
Andrew:
Name of Sport:Frisbee Chase
Objective: Score as many points as possible per round in the other teams nets to earn one point in the match. First to get to five points wins the game.
Rules:1. Game is played either on a FrisField (professionally) or any field (recreationally)
2. Two teams of four people per game
3. There are three frisbees scattered around the field at the start of each round
4. There are four "Frisbee Nets" where points are scored. Two Nets for each team.
5. Frisbee Nets are located at each end of the field, one on the left side and one on the right side.6. Only one frisbee is allowed to be in play at a time, so teams can only find one frisbee at first, play a round, and as soon as the frisbee has been scored, teams can look for the other two frisbees.
7. Blockers must stay inside the "Key" at all times, unless they are being pulled from the game to activate a Defender
8. The key is a box around the goals on both ends of the field, this signifies the areas in which blockers cannot exit, and also signifies where the Attackers cannot enter. They HAVE to attack and score from outside the key, otherwise the score will not count.
9. As soon as all three frisbees are scored, the round will end, and whichever team scored the most goals in that round will earn a point to their overall score.
10. Attackers may only take three steps at a time before being forced to throw the frisbee to their teams other Attacker, if this rule is broken, it is called Carrying and is a penalty, which will give possession to the opposing teams Attackers.
11. Defenders may move anywhere they please as long as it's on their own side of the field. They are not allowed to enter the opposing teams side of the field, because this would be a penalty. This rule does not apply if a Blocker is pulled from the game, as seen in Rule 12.
12. A coach may take their Blocker out of the game at any point during the match, allowing their Defender to enter the opposing teams zone and act as an extra Attacker, while also being able to play defense.
13. Once a Blocker is taken out of the game, they are not eligible to be brought back into the game until a goal is scored by either team.
14. The game begins with a "Search Phase" this phase is when the Attackers from both teams will try and secure a frisbee laying somewhere on the field, once a frisbee is found and secured by an Attacker from either team, the "Search Phase" ends and the next phase begins.
15. The game continues with the "Scoring Phase" the team that found the frisbee will begin the phase with possession of the frisbee. Attackers will toss to each other and try to score from outside of the Blockers Key. This phase is when Defenders and Blockers are also active and doing their respected tasks. Once a goal is scored, return to the "Search Phase" and repeat this process until all three frisbees have been scored into either teams nets.
Out Of Play Protocol
If a frisbee is thrown or deflected out of play by a player, the protocol is as follows:
1. If an Attacker overthrows or miss-throws and the frisbee is thrown out of play, the opposing teams Defender will be tossing the frisbee to their own Attackers in play.
2. If a Defender deflects the frisbee and it lands out of play, the opposing teams Defender will be tossing the frisbee to their own Attackers in play.
3. If a Blocker deflects the frisbee and it lands out of play, then the Blocker for the opposing team will toss it from their own Key to their Attackers.
Fouls/Penalties:
Under the circumstance in which a rule is broken or there is unnecessary contact or action, these fouls may follow.
Carrying- When an Attacker takes more than three steps before tossing the frisbee to their teammate.
Result: Loss of possession
Crossing- When a Defender illegally crosses the border between their side of the field and the Opposing teams side.
Result: Loss of possession
Exiting: When a Blocker exits the Key for any other reason than getting pulled for an extra Attacker.
Result: Loss of possession
Re-offense: Penalty Throw
Unnecessary Contact: when a player on one team creates contact with an opposing player that is more than strong enough to injure a player.
1st Offense: Loss of Possession
2nd Offense: Penalty Throw
3rd Offense: Ejection + Penalty Throw
Positions:
1 Blocker: tasked with blocking or catching frisbees from getting into the Frisbee Net. They are only allowed to catch and throw if an Attacker from the opposing team is attempting to score, or pass to a teammate.
1 Defender: tasked with defending their side of the field if the Attackers fail to guard the opposing teams Attackers. Defenders are NOT allowed to enter opposing team. Defenders are NOT allowed to catch, throw, or pass the frisbee in their own territory, and can only act as a wall, or as a distraction to Attackers. These rules change when the Blocker is pulled out of the game, this activates the Defender into an Attacker and they can do all Attacker tasks. The rules also change during out of play protocol.
2 Attackers: Tasked with finding the frisbees and throwing them to other Attackers, Shooting at the net to score, or passing and controlling the offense. Attackers can enter the opposing teams territory in an attempt to try and score. They are the leaders of the offense. They are allowed to stay in their own territory and act as defender when the opposing teams Attackers have the frisbees and are attempting to score.
Scoring:
The type of scoring system used in Frisbee Chase is a mixture of familiar scoring systems, such as Tennis, Basketball (Playoff Series'), and a race to get to the predetermined point total.
There are a few ways that a team can score a point during the "Scoring Phase" of a round;
1. Natural Goal: When an Attacker has scored on the Blocker by throwing the frisbee accurately and landing it in one of the nets. This can count as 1 point, 2 points, or 3 points, depending on how far away from the goal one is scoring from. 1 point being the closest 2 being in the middle, and 3 points being the furthest away. (As seen on the map of the FrisField)
2. Penalty Throw: If contact is deemed necessary for a free throw, or if the Blocker commits an exiting foul, a Penalty Throw will ensue. During this there will be a one on one between one teams Attacker and the opposing teams Blocker. The Attacker will stand on the 2 point line, and get a free throw at trying to score 2 points for their team, assuming they make the throw.
Once all scoring phases have concluded, and all frisbees have been scored, the round will end and the team with the most points will get 1 point OVERALL! For example, Team A scored 4 Points in Round 1, while Team B scored 1 Point, that means overall Team A would earn a point overall, and be winning the game 1-0. The first team to reach 5 overall points will win the match.
Competition:
This sport is very competitive in which the main goal is to win and beat out the other team. This game can be played in a stadium filled with thousands of fans, and even have its own league. The best part about this game is the competition and sport itself. The competitive aspect is definitely the main goal of scoring the most points to win the match overall. This drives people to want to win, to do what it takes to win! This sport can also be played as a tournament format, making it perfect for competition!
