I don't own Kik (obviously), or Total Drama. I am the host of...
Before we get to the first challenge, let's look at the things that happened before it began.
Apparently before I even made the chat, a lot of stuff happened. There are already two big alliances, along with several smaller ones. There's no doubt that some people are betraying some of the alliances.
But like dang the chat hadn't even started yet guys chill
When I did make the chat, I added the veterans first.
29 of the 40 players are veterans that have participated in at least one comp before. They were all happy to be back.
Lmao that's a lie
Anyway, then I added the newbies. There are only 11 of them, which is the most we've ever had, but also the least we've had compared to the veterans. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Most of them were nervous I think.
Basically as soon as the chat was created, shipping began. Cheshire and Alvin are our two biggest shippers, and they immediately looked for every opportunity to ship people together. A lot of the ships involved Naomi for some reason.
Also, they didn't really say much about it in the chat, but Ry and Ace (Aj from last season) are, in fact, dating, even though they live thousands of miles apart. They've been dating since near the beginning of season 4 actually, after all that Andrew stuff happened.
Speaking of Andrew, I haven't seen him speak in the main chat, and it's been a few days since I created it. Everyone else I have seen speak at least once.
Neon, who used to be Corey/Star, and had these dramatic last words last season:

Yeah that. All Neon said was "..." when the chat began, and I haven't seen him speak since.
Besides the shipping when the chat began, there were also jokes about me rigging the comps. At least, I think they were jokes. Some people probably still think I do rig them, even though I've explained several times that I don't. I probably will never escape the accusations ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
A few days after the chat was created, an old friend decided to join. Well, I wouldn't really call him a friend. It was Dimitri, the villain from the outside of season 2. Except when he actually joined that season, he was nice to everyone but Alvin and Hood. After eliminating the two of them, he forfeited that season.
I hadn't seen Dimitri since then, but he asked to join this season. He wasn't exactly nice, but he wasn't mean, either. Except to Alvin, who falsely accused him of hating the ship Todmas.
