Chapter 54: Jug broken.
August 8, 2014
Hanna's Point Of View.
With only four more months left to yet another Christmas, I couldn't be happier and more excited than I am because again this year, I got my man with me.
I hope that this year we'll fly my family over here instead of us taking a plane over to the Oslo again. As it's now, I'm so done and tired of being in the air.
Enough about that.
Brianna finds what she's been looking for the last days according to her, which by the way is a necklace her long gone mother gave her before she passed away a few years ago. I miss Bri's mother, she was amazing.
"Do you think about your mother a lot?" My whispering question has my best friend look up from her mothers necklace and sit back down again sideways, her back leaning against the kitchen wall as she hugs her legs close to her chest.
"All the time, there's not a minute that goes by when she's not on my mind." Brianna lays the necklace on the table and keeps her eyes locked on it for just a brief second before she looks back up at me.
"I think that's normal. It's okay to miss someone and to admit it." I touch her hand.
"I miss her so much. She was the best and coolest mom I know of." She smiles, probably at memories flooding back.
"So I've been told. You don't talk so much about her, why's that?"
She shakes her head, "Because talking about her makes me upset which leads to me crying.. I hate it when people see my dark and low sides, my emotional sides."
"But Bri," I grab her hand and squeeze it gently. "I'm your best friend. I would understand and I know someone else who would too."
"Alfredo?" She asks with a small smile.
"Yeah. I'm 110 percent sure he out of all people will understand and listen. Talk to him, tell him about your mom. You might get surprised." I take a small sip of my tea and get startled when Justin sneaks up from behind me.
"Missed me?" He whispers in to my ear.
"You can bet I did." I turn around in his arms, "Where have you two been?" I point to Alfredo who enters the kitchen and walks straight up to his girl whom he is quick to award with a small kiss.
"Ooooo." Justin whistles while watching the lip lock earning a small smack in his upper arm from me. "Ouch, babe stop being so violate." I roll my eyes at his remark.
"Yeah yeah."
"We were just in town, did some shopping. Like my new shoes?"
I look down at his feet and roll my eyes again when I see he's actually bought yet another pair of shoes. Why does this guy keep buying himself all sorts of shoes? It's like he's blind and hasn't realized and seen he has a whole walk in closet just for his shoes.
"When are you gonna stop buying yourself shoes? Have you seen your closet?" I point out.
"Mhm and that's why I bought you a pair too." He mysteriously takes out a new pair of high heels from behind his back and hands me them. I gasp and stay shocked.
"You didn't." I refuse and study my apparently new heals.
"That's not all. I also saw this hot dress just screaming for your name so I thought I'd make you happy and buy it for you." He shows me the dress.
"Justin.." My whole body is on fire, my breath stitching. "First the shoes, now a dress?"
"Oh the shoes were just a lil bonus, I wanted to make you happy with the dress. Oh," He holds up his pointer finger, "I almost forgot. For later." I nearly pass out when he gives me yet another bag, this one from Victoria secret. Oh boy, I'm not even gonna look right now, saving it for later.
