Chapter 17: The unwanted guest
August 3, 2014
Hanna's Point Of View.
My first instinct was to hide, but that would be childish, so instead I grab Justin's hand and stand up to, deciding to act as if I'm happy to see Luke.
Plus, I can at least be friendly to his parents and his older sister, they never hurt me.
"You're Justin Bieber." Luke points out the obvious.
"I am, hello, it's nice to meet you." Justin shakes Luke's hand.
"I'm a huge fan man."
"Thanks." Justin smiles. Ew this is getting too gross.
"Hi Mrs. and Mr. Jameson, how are you?" I ask friendly, giving them both a friendly hug.
"Hello Hanna!" They both gush. "Look at you, you've become a young lady. Last time we saw you, you were 15?" Mrs. Jameson smiles.
"Yes it's been 2 years, wow time flies." I state.
"Hello" I hug Amanda, Luke's 21 year old blonde sister. She's the totally opposite of Luke. She's friendly, caring, nice, yeah everything Luke is not to be honest.
"Hi Hanna." Luke's annoying voice putts in.
"Luke.." I approach, putting on a fake smile. Shaking my head to stop myself from exploding from pure anger I introduce Justin.
"Guys.. this is Justin, my boyfriend. Justin, this is the Jameson family." I introduce, my smile only growing, seeing as Justin has that affect on me.
I glanced at Luke, studying his looks. And looking away from the fact that his eyes are wide at the moment, probably because I'm dating the Justin Bieber he still looks like the same handsome heartbreaker I used to love one time.
"You're with her?" Luke asks Justin and points to me.
"Geez you make it sound like I'm a bag full of shit." I snort at Luke, making him scoff.
After welcoming everyone, except Luke, dad made us all some coffee and tea to drink along with a slice of cheesecake.
I know cheesecake is one of my sisters fave cakes as well as mine and Justin's so at least the three of us have something in common.
"So Justin, how is life at the moment?" Mr. Jameson asks cutting a slice of cake.
"Life is good man, but c'mon we don't want this evening to be all about me." Justin says making goosebumps form on my arms and legs.
How did I get so lucky? Haters don't get to say he doesn't care about others because if he did we'd be talking about him all night.
"Actually," I start and pull a small present up from under my chair - an envelope to be exact. "Justin and I bought you a lil something. And we were meant to give it to you yesterday, but we forgot actually." We both chuckle and hand it to Charlotte.
"Awe you didn't have to." She blushes and opens it. She gasps once she sees what we got her.
"You got me a 2 thousand dollars gift-card to a kitchen store?" She whisper- shouts in disbelief.
Justin and I nod our heads and smile as if it isn't a big deal, when honestly, it isn't. We don't give to feel good about ourselves, but because the person deserves it.
