Amegakure. Village Hidden in rain. A befitting name for the Village based on its weather.

A series of feet splashing on the water was heard. The winds started blowing and moved the cloaks with red clouds worn by the masked duo. They didn't even mind the rain falling on them.

The sounds of rain falling on the ground was suppressed when Naruto and Obito entered into the Konan's office where the Paper user was doing her own work.

"What do you want?" Konan asked without any emotion on her face.

Naruto frowned under his mask seeing the emotionless face of the one who used to be an angel.

"We want to meet Nagato. Since you would not allow any visitor to come into the tree where you have hidden him, I thought that I should inform You." Obito said.

"Madara never asks for any permission." Konan bluntly pointed out.

It was true. After all Madara can enter without permission. He can literally burst into Nagato's room without obtaining any permission.

"Have you gone senile? I have said "inform" not "take permission"." Obito said filling his voice with poison.

Konan gave Obito a hard and look before standing up and walking towards door.

"Follow me." Konan said. "If you make one wrong move then I will not hesitate to kill you"

She cannot kill Madara, she knew but she also knew that she can hold off Madara long before the Yahiko's body comes to rescue.

"Why is Naruto following us?"

Well, I could have said that it was none of her business but it would raise red flags immediately. As he is the only loved one left to her, she would fight for Nagato to death, which we cannot risk at all. Why? Because, it would make Nagato to commit large scale massacre resulting in failure of progress of our work. Obito thought.

"I have decided that Nagato should select a heir to the throne to Akatsuki."

Immediately, Obito felt a sharp blade lying on his neck. Looking down, he saw that it was a paper sword which no one even saw Konan creating.

Suddenly, Black crystals appeared out of the ground which quickly separated the two tense shinobis.

"You didn't even let me finish me, Konan. I was saying that since is running out of chakra, he would die very soon. So, I want to declare this young ninja to become the leader of Akatsuki." Obito phrased his plans.

It was a lie. But it was not far from truth as he had plans for Naruto to become the leader of Akatsuki.

"Very well. I apologize, Madara." Konan said as the sword broke into pieces and papers started flying everywhere.

It is going to be a long day. Obito thought as they walked through the flooded streets of Amegakure.

Pein's (Nagato) Hideout.

"So we are here." Konan said as she walked to a tree and did some handsigns. Immediately, the tree split into two, much to amazement of Naruto.

As Naruto walked in, along with the other members, he saw a tired Nagato being bounded to a machine.

"You have 5 minutes to explain me why I should not use shinra tensei on you for bringing Naruto without any permission." The red haired man said in a weak voice.

Ignoring the looming threat, Obito looked at Nagato directly.

"First of all, I am here to talk with you, Pein." Naruto said with Nagato's eyes widening.
