Shaylee's POV

"Bob!" I whisper yell before I hear a twig snap and I peer down the scope of my rifle and I see someone hurrying away before a walker steps into my view

"Shit!" I mutter before beating the walker with the butt end of my rifle

A hand covers my mouth and I let out a muffled scream

"It's me. It's dad." My dad whispers causing me to calm down before he releases me and I see Sasha and Tyreese are with him

"He's getting away." I whisper

"Who?" My dad and Sasha whisper simultaneously

"Somebody was watching us." I whisper as I point towards the woods

"If we go in there now, some of us aren't comin' back." Tyreese whispers as my dad shines his flashlight into the woods

"Bob is out there somewhere. Scared, alone." Sasha says

"Maybe not alone." My dad whispers causing me to look over at him

"Daryl and Carol are missing, too." My dad whispers

"What?" I ask

"Let's head inside and regroup." My dad whispers before we walk back into the church

"Stop." Sasha says to Gabriel as we walk over to him

"What are you doing?" Sasha asks Gabriel but he seems a bit confused

"What are you doing?" She repeats

"This is all connected." She adds

"You show up, we're being watched, and now three of us are gone." I say

"I...I don't...I don't have anything to do with this." Gabriel says before Sasha pulls out her knife

"Wait!" Gabriel says as he jumps back from her

"Don't!" Rosita yells as she charges Sasha but Abraham grabs her

"Sasha, put it away." Tyreese demands

"Who's out there?" Sasha asks as she steps closer to Gabriel

"I— I don't have anything...to do with this." He replies

"Where are our people?" Sasha asks

"I don't have anything to—" Gabriel starts

"Where are our people?!" She shouts cutting him off

"Please, I don't have anything to do with this. I—" Gabriel starts but is cut off by My dad pulling Sasha back

"Why'd you bring us here?" My dad asks

"Please, I— I—" Gabriel stutters

"You working with someone?" My dad asks

"I'm alone. I'm alone. I was always alone." Gabriel says

"What about that woman in the food bank, Gabriel? What did you do to her? "You'll burn for this". That was for you. Why? What're you gonna burn for, Gabriel?" My dad asks before grabbing him by his shirt

"What? What did you do? What did you do?!" My dad shouts in his face before releasing him

"I lock the doors at night. I always lock the doors at night. I always lock the doors at night. I always—" Gabriel says as tears pool in his eyes

"They started coming, my congregation. Atlanta was bombed the night before and they were scared. They were— they were looking for a safe place, a place where they felt safe. And it was so early. It was so early. And the doors were still  locked. You see...it was my choice. There were so many of them and they were trying to pry the shutters and banging on the sidings, screaming at me. And so the dead came for them. Women...children. Entire families calling my name as they were torn apart, begging me for mercy. Begging me for mercy. Damning me to hell. I buried their bones. I buried it all. The Lord sent you here to finally punish me. I'm damned. I was damned before. I always lock the doors. I always lock the doors." Gabriel says as he now sobs
