"Hi there, Handsome." I say as I lean down and peck the top of Daryl's head as he squats beside his bike

"Whatcha got there?" I ask

"I was bringin' it home to you when my bike got stole." He says as he holds the small wooden army man up to me

"Reminds me of ya." He smirks as he stands up

"G.I Jane." He says as his smirk turns into a smile

"You keep it." I tell him with a soft smile as I push it into his chest

"So when you're not with me...you can look at it and think of me." I say with a soft smile

"Trust me, Darlin', I don't need nothin' ta think of you." He smiles as he brushes my hair out of my face

"Aren't you just the charmer?" I smile up at him

"I got you a present." I tell him as I reach into my back pocket

"What is it?" He asks as I pull the pack of cigarettes from my back pocket before holding them up

"Thank ya, Darlin'." He smiles as he takes them from me before he leans down and pecks my lips

"Mhm." I hum in response

"Hey." He says softly as he grips my face in his hands

"The ones that took you and Maggie...what'd they do to you?" He asks as he gently strokes my cheeks with his thumbs

"To us?" I ask and he nods his head in response

"They didn't do anything." I mutter

"Just so ya know you and this baby are the only presents I need." He smiles at me before I stand up on my tip toes and peck his lips

"I know how to use a machete now. I've seen roamers up close. I'm ready." She tells us

"You good with this?" Daryl asks Rosita who's been training Denise

"No." Rosita says

"I'll go alone if I have to." Denise tells us

"You'll die alone." Daryl tells her

"I'm asking you to make sure I don't." Denise says before Daryl and I look over at Rosita

"I'm not babysitting her by myself." Rosita tells us earning a soft giggle from me

"I'll get Ace. You get the truck." I tell Daryl before I stand up on my tip-toes and peck his lips
