Narrator's POV

"The town was overrun. Glenn and Shay split off with Nicholas. Glenn had this idea that...if he lit a fire, it would stop the walkers from coming here. I tried to go instead. I wanted to. He told me I had to get them home. And Shay told him...Shay-- she told him that they were a package deal." Michonne tells Maggie and Rosita

"The fire never got lit. We had to keep going. I'm sorry." Michonne tells them

"Glenn said if they got stuck, they would find a way to send us a signal." Michonne tells them

"A signal?" Maggie asks

"Open the gate!" Rick shouts as he runs down the street toward the gates of Alexandria with the back half of the herd following him

"Open the gate!" He repeats

"Open the gate now!" Rick shouts before Michonne and Maggie pull the gate open. Rick dodges a few walkers before he runs inside the gate and Michonne and Maggie quickly pull it closed

"You can hear it. Some of you saw it. They got back here, half of 'em. Still enough to surround us twenty deep. Look, I know you're scared. Ya haven't seen anything like this. Ya haven't been through anything like this. But we're safe for now." Rick tells the Alexandrians

"The panel the truck hit seems intact. We reinforced it just in case. Either way, the wall's gonna hold together. Can you?" He asks them

"The others, they're gonna be back." He adds

"They're gonna be back." Rosita repeats as she nods her head

"Daryl, Abraham, Sasha, they have vehicles. They're gonna lead 'em away, just like the others. And Glenn, Shaylee, and Nicholas're gonna walk back through the front gate after. They know what they're doin', and we know what we need to do. We keep noise to a minimum. Pull our blinds at night. Even better, keep the lights out. We'll try to make this place as quiet as a graveyard, see if they move on." Rick tells them

"This place is a graveyard." Francine says

"The quarry broke open and those walkers were heading this way. All of them. The plan that Rick put into place stopped that from happening. He got half of them away." Aaron tells the Alexandrians as he steps forward

"I was out there recruiting with Daryl. I wanted to try to get into a cannery and scavenge, and Daryl wanted to keep looking for people. We did what I wanted...and we wound up in a trap set by those people. And I lost my pack. They musta followed our tracks. Those people who attacked us...they found
their way back here because of me." Aaron admits before Deanna walks off

"There'll be more to talk about." Rick tells them

-Flashback-

"Got a new girl." Daryl mutters to his brother

"Ooh, and she's fine. Tappin' that..." Merle trails off as he points at Shaylee

"It'll bring me back to my days in camo. I'm due for a lil reminiscin'." Merle smirks

"Stay away from 'er." Daryl seethes as he watches the woman being pulled away from Lori by Glenn

"Who are they?" Shaylee asks Glenn as she looks over at the pair of rednecks

"That's Merle and Daryl Dixon. Merle's a creep so just, uh, stay clear of 'em." Glenn tells her and Shaylee nods her head in response

Shaylee glances back over only to lock eyes with Daryl. She gives him a soft smile earning a soft one from Daryl in return
