HEATHERS POV
The fact that we were about to see the dentist at school was terrifying me. When Karlie came in I got extremely nervous because that meant Taylor was the dentist at the school and she was my dentist. Karlie was my older sister and I missed my appointment with Taylor yesterday because I was too scared to go so I faked sick and my mom cancelled it. We followed Karlie to the milk room and lined up outside of it against the wall. I was unfortunately first in the line.
"Give me one sec" Karlie said going into the room.
She came back out and gave me a soft smile
"You ready to come in Heather" she asked softly
"I guess" I say nervously.
I went into the room with her and she closed the door behind us.
"Hey Heather we missed you yesterday are you feeling better" Taylor asked softly
"Y yeah" I reply nervously
"That's great, ok honey we're just going to go ahead and take a quick look at your teeth alright" she said encouragingly
"Ok" I say nervously
"Can you come take a seat for me" she said motioning to the chair in front of hers.
I went and sat down on the chair as she got a mask and gloves on grabbing her mirror and explorer
"Ok hun can you open for me real quick" she said softly
I nervously looked at my sister and she gave me a soft smile
"It's alright hun you can open for her I'm right here, I'm not going anywhere" she said encouragingly
I nervously opened my mouth and she immediately started checking my teeth.
"Alright honey you do have one little cavity" Taylor said sympathetically taking the tools out of my mouth.
I immediately jumped out of the chair cornering the room
"It's ok princess she has no tools to fix it right now but maybe I'll take you out of school to get that fixed ok" Karlie said
"I don't want another filling" I whimper nervously
"Heather trust me hun you'd way rather get this filling while the cavity is still small rather then wait and it becoming a root canal those hurt so much more then fillings" Taylor said
"Ok" I reply nervously
Karlie brought me back out going and bringing the next person in. This wasn't fun
