Paige's Checkup

PAIGE'S POV

"Alright honey before we get started are you having any owies anywhere that I should know about" auntie sel asked making me shake my head

"Great so I know your used to uncle Austin doing your checkup so I'll go nice and slow, let me know if you need a break at all and I'll stop" she said softly before grabbing the thermometer and sticking it in my ear

I sat still letting her take it out and write my temperature down in my file before grabbing the cuff off the wall and putting it around my arm

"Just going to give your arm a really tight hug hun" she said sticking her stethoscope in her ears and placing the metal under the cuff before squeezing the balloon at the end making it get tighter

"Mommy" I whimper nervously

"Your ok Paige your doing so good your so brave" my mom said softly as Selena took the cuff off my arm and warmed up her stethoscope in her hands

"You doing alright hun" she asked sticking her stethoscope on my chest

"Y yeah" I reply hesitantly as she moved onto my lungs

"Deep breaths for me princess" she said softly making me oblige

She took her stethoscope off putting it back around her neck and grabbed her otoscope from behind me

"Your doing great princess just going to check your ears nose and throat quickly" she said before sticking the otoscope in my ear

I winced at the feeling not liking it as she took it out and went and looked in the other ear giving me the same reaction

"Alright look all the way up sweetheart" she said softly as she lifted my head to be looking up at the ceiling as she checked my nose before switching the top on her otoscope and grabbing a popsicle stick thing

"Open and say ah" she said making me follow her directions

"Perfect we're almost done your doing so good Paige, this isn't that bad is it" she asked grabbing the reflex hammer

"I guess not" I answer as she checked my reflexes making me kick

"Alright I'm going to have you lay down for me is that ok" she asked softly

I nodded nervously and laid down and she started feeling my stomach, it kind of tickled so I started giggling till she stopped and gave me a soft smile

"I need you to stay laying down but stay really really still for me honey are you able to do that" she asked softly

I nodded and she pulled me to the end of the table

"Amelia just work on keeping that upper half down on the table" she said turning to my mom making her agree and come over

"Your doing so well honey" my mom said softly as she put one of her arms across my waist and her other hand holding my arms

"W what's happening" I whimper

"Your ok princess your being so brave we're almost done and you can go tell your uncle Austin and your daddy and sister what a great job you did" Selena said as I felt something cold on my leg making me panic

"Shh it's ok Paige she hasn't done anything your alright" my mom added before I felt a sharp poke in my thigh

I looked up at my mom with tears in my eyes and she gave me a sympathetic smile

"I know princess they are not fun but you did so good" she said sympathetically as Selena took it out and stuck a bandaid on my leg.

They let me sit back up and wipe my tears from my face as Selena helped me back down from the table

"You did so well honey I'm so proud of you" Selena said softly

"Thank you" I say clinging onto my mom

We went and met back up with my dad my sister and Austin and I was glad I was finished
