AUSTINS POV
"Tay you really don't get it" I whine
"Austin I get your scared of the dentist, trust me I completely understand, but listen to me this is a lot better then letting it get worse if it gets worse your risking a root canal and trust me you would way rather just get a filling" Taylor said
"It's going to hurt though" I whimper
"Austin I'm going to be completely honest, yes it hurts a bit, I get the pressure of the drill causes some mild pain but I'll try and be as gentle as I possibly can I just need you to give me the chance to do that" she said
"So how about we give it a chance yeah" she added encouragingly
"Ok" I say nervously
She grabbed the numbing shot from the tray again and kept it hidden out of my view
"Alright open" she said softly.
I took a deep breath before opening my mouth. I was so scared and actually shaking
"Just a really sharp scratch" Taylor warned softly before poking the needle into my mouth
I laid there whimpering before I tried grabbing the needle to get it away. Karlie immediately grabbed my hands keeping them away from what Taylor was doing as she took the needle out and poked it in again behind my tooth.
"I know it hurts but you can't be grabbing it" Karlie said
"You're doing so good we just have to wait for that to work now" Taylor said taking the needle out of my mouth and disposing of it.
We waited a couple minutes for the numbing to start working and I panicked the whole time
"Ok let's finish this so we can get out of here" Taylor said grabbing the drill from the desk thingy.
I opened my mouth again and she started fixing my tooth. The drill felt extremely uncomfortable but Karlie kept a firm grip on my hands not wanting me to react again. Taylor finished off and filled the tooth finally drying it and letting me go.
"That wasn't that bad now was it" Taylor asked quickly cleaning up
"I guess not" I reply
We were finally able to go home and I think we were all happy about that
