Blood test

AMELIAS POV

I went into the lab standing in the corner of the room as I didn't quite want to sit down in the chair yet. The chair was a big black chair that had a bar thing that looked to go up and down. Beside the chair was a tray with gauze bandaids and needles and it was kind of scary looking. Shortly after Austin came into the lab with Selena

"Hey hun what's going on" Selena asked giving me a soft sympathetic smile

"Nothing" I say hesitantly

"Want to come take a seat we can get this done nice and quick" she said softly as she motioned towards the chair

I nervously went over and sat on the chair and she pulled the bar down locking it in place. She went grabbing a couple tubes out of drawers placing them onto the tray beside the chair

"God this is like a torture chamber" i said making her burst into laughter

"It's not that bad hun, I'm going to tie a rubber band around your arm just so I can find a vein" she said softly grabbing a blue band.

She tied it around my arm and starts feeling for a vein as Austin walks out of the room

"Where's he going" I ask nervously

"I'm not sure hun" she said as she cleaned off my arm

"Just stay really still for me honey" she said before poking the needle into the crook of my arm making me wince

"Your alright your doing so good" she said encouragingly as she collected the tubes of blood she needed while holding my arm still

She pulled the needle out of my arm sticking a bandaid on it and letting me up. I was able to get up and stretch it felt so nice as Austin came back in

"Hey hun Taylor wants to see you at her office you can wait over there till she's done work because she's done before me anyways" Austin said softly making me nod and start heading to Taylor's office.

I wonder what she wanted me for.
