AMELIAS POV
"We'll start off nice and easy" Selena said softly motioning towards the scale at the side of the room
I looked up at Taylor and she gave me a soft smile and a nod. I went over and shakily stood on the scale. She took my height and weight before letting me get back off. I went back over hiding behind Taylor I didn't want to go at all never mind first
"Amelia go sit on the table for her" Taylor said
"I don't want too" I whimper
"Here I'll come sit with you ok" she said softly taking my hand.
She brought me over to the table picked me up and put me on it as she sat beside me. I know I was 11 but I was still fairly small for an 11 year old and Taylor could still easily pick me up. I looked up at her nervously before looking over at Selena.
"It's alright princess I won't hurt you, you know that" Selena said
"Please don't make me" I whimper
"Amelia you need a checkup hun you'll be ok she'll be very gentle and I'll be right here with you alright, you've got this" Taylor said encouragingly
"Ok" I whimper finally agreeing
I knew I wasn't going to get out of it so I had to agree eventually
"We're going to start off with your temperature since that seems the easiest" Selena said softly as she grabbed her thermometer off the desk
She stuck it in my ear and waited for the beep before taking it out. She grabbed the blood pressure cuff putting it around my arm and sticking her stethoscope underneath it and making it get tighter. I let her finish that and she took the cuff off my arm and warmed up her stethoscope in her hands
"Ok hun I tried to warm it up the best I can but it'll probably still be a bit cold so I apologize in advance" she said as she stuck the metal part on my chest.
She listened to my heart before moving onto my lungs and putting her stethoscope back around her neck.
"Your doing great hun we're almost done" she said softly as she grabbed the otoscope from the wall
She checked my ears noes and throat before putting that away.
"Do you mind just laying down for me quickly" Selena asked softly as Taylor jumped off the table.
I looked at my sister nervously and she gave me an encouraging smile
"Your alright go ahead and lay down for her I'll come sit with you again when she's done" she said softly
"I I can't" I whimper nervously
"It's ok princess I have no tools or anything on me all I'm going to do is take a quick feel of your stomach" she said softly
I gulped nervously before laying down. She started feeling my stomach and I was just ready for this to be over.
"You doing ok hun" Selena asked before grabbing her stethoscope from her neck
"Y yeah" I whimper nervously
"We're almost done this part hun just bare with me a little longer" she said before placing her stethoscope on my stomach
She listened to a few different places before noticing I was getting overwhelmed and letting me sit up
"Are you alright hun" Selena asked sympathetically
"Y yeah" I whimper as she checks my reflexes quickly
"Ok so a majority is all done but you are due for 2 vaccines so we can go ahead and get those done then you're all finished" she said
"Can we skip shots" I whine
"Amelia your not skipping the shots just let her do them please" Austin said
"But I don't want them" I whimper
"Honey we don't want you getting really sick either and these shots are going to help keep you from getting really sick" she said
"Can you go quick" I ask nervously
"Of course hun as long as you stay still for me I'll go quick" she replied
"Ok" I reply nervously as I looked over at Taylor
"You got this hun you can hold my hand ok" She said softly coming and sitting beside me offering me her hand
I took her hand and squeezed it tight as I felt the alcohol wipe on my arm
"Just keep looking forward for me and we'll be done in no time" Selena said softly before poking the first needle in my arm.
I winced but stayed still cause I just wanted it done. She took it out before poking the second one and finally putting a bandaid on my arm.
"You did so well hun" she said softly
"Thanks Sel" I say jumping down.
"No problem, ok who's next" she asked making Taylor immediately jump off the table
"I feel like you should maybe do Taylor next she's pretty scared as well" Austin said making Taylor gulp nervously
