DALLAS'S POV
My mom carried me into the room with Selena and I was pretty much clung to her as she tried to sit me on the table
"Dallas your ok princess but you need to let go of me though" my mom said softly
"No mommy" I cry as she tries pulling my hands off of her neck
"We can do this with her in your lap if it makes it any easier Amelia" Selena said making my mom nod and sit on the table with me in her lap
"Ok Dallas do you think it would be ok if I just checked your temperature quickly" Selena asked softly trying not to scare me
I nodded shyly staying attached to my mom. She gently stuck her thermometer in my ear and we waited for the beep before she took it out
"Perfect, I'm just going to take your blood pressure now this is just going to give your arm a tight hug alright" she asked making me nod again
She put the cuff around my arm sticking her stethoscope underneath it and making it get tighter around my arm before releasing it and taking it back off again and warming up her stethoscope
"Ok this may be a bit cold hun but I'm just going to take a quick listen to your heart and lungs" she said softly
She stuck the metal on my chest making me whimper at the coldness
"I know I'm sorry I tried warming it up as best as I can" she said sympathetically as she listened to my chest before moving onto my lungs
"Take some deep breaths for me hun" she said softly making me oblige before taking her stethoscope off and putting it back around her neck
"Your doing so well so far princess" Selena said encouragingly as she grabbed something from behind me
I watched her as she gently put her tool in my left ear and looked through it before moving over and doing the same to my right. She softly lifted my head up to look up at the ceiling and checked my nose
"Alright princess can you open your mouth nice and big for me" She said encouragingly
I opened my mouth and she looked down my throat before letting me close it again
"Alright hun we're going to check your stomach now ok" Selena said softly
"W why" I whimper nervously
"She just needs to check your tummy to make sure there aren't any owies hun" my mom said encouragingly
"Owk" I whimper nervously
My mom stood up laying me on the table giving me a soft encouraging smile as I looked up at her. Selena started feeling my stomach finishing that up quickly before letting me sit back up
"Alright we're going to quickly check your reflexes and we're almost done" she said encouragingly as she grabbed a rubber hammer from the desk
She gently tapped my knees making me kick before putting it away and my mom picked me back up again sitting back on the table with me
"Alright hun we're going to give you some medicine that's going to help keep you healthy for the school year ok" Selena said softly
"Will it hurt" I whimper nervously
"Maybe just a little bit princess but your ok your mommy's got you" she said softly as she came over with a tray on the side of the table
My moms grip around me tightened and I whimpered hiding into her chest
"Your ok hun your aunt Sel is really good at this she'll be really gentle" my mom said encouragingly as Selena wiped my arm off with a cold wipe
"Just stay nice and still for me princess" Selena said softly before poking me making me whine
"I know honey I'm sorry" Selena said sympathetically taking it out and poking me again
I whimpered as she took it out put a bandaid on my arm and her and my mom turned me around to face the other way
"We've got 2 more sweetie we're almost there you're being so brave" Selena said softly as she wiped my other arm
She poked me again and I hid in my moms neck as she finished and did the last one. She stuck a bandaid on my arm and I lifted my head making sure it's over
"You did so well Dallas you didn't even cry" Selena said giving me a lollipop and stickers
"Thank you" I say jumping off my moms lap
I was happy it was over. Selena cleaned up the exam room before we went next door to the one my sister and Austin were in
"How'd you do Paige" our mom asked turning to my sister sympathetically
Instead of talking she gave a thumbs up looking up at her with sad eyes
"Ok girls we've got time to spare before Taylor's" our mom said making uncle Austin's eyes spark
"Oh you guys still have time" Austin asked
"Ya quite a bit actually" our mom replied looking at her phone
"Well then I say we should have a chat little sis" he replied with a sympathetic tone making our mom gulp
